AMD Catalyst 14.7 RC Driver Released

AMD has released a new Release Candidate driver for its graphics cards. According to its changelog, this new driver includes all the improvements found in the 14.6 RC driver, comes with an updated Crossfire profile for Plants vs. Zombies and improves CrossFire scaling (3840×2160 High Settings) in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag up to 93%.

Dark Souls 2 – Latest Update Detailed, Going Live On July 18th

Namco Bandai and FromSoftware revealed the changelog for the latest update of Dark Souls 2 that will go live on July 18th. This new patch will update the PC version to ‘Ver: 1.04 Regulation: 1.08’ and the console versions to ‘Ver: 1.06 Regulation: 1.08’.

The team decided to ditch Unity in favour of Unreal Engine 4 because Epic’s engine will give them the ‘ability to deliver excellent performance and graphics quality that Unity just wasn’t able to deliver.’
