Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. It appears that the E3 2016 trailer for Arkane’s Dishonored 2 has been leaked online. This trailer packs gameplay footage and will give you an idea of what you can expect – at least visually and artistically – from this new first-person title. Dishonored 2 is currently planned for a November 11th release. Enjoy!

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst has just been released and below you can enjoy some 4K screenshots from it. For this gallery we used the game’s Hyper settings (that are more demanding and offer better visual quality than the Ultra settings). Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is powered by Frostbite 3 and looks utterly amazing.

Electronic Arts has released another teaser trailer for Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 is powered by the Frostbite 3 Engine and looks absolutely beautiful. Electronic Arts will release a new – proper – trailer on June 12th (during its E3 Conference) so stay tuned for more!

DOOM – Next update will bring new Photo Mode, Classic DOOM weapon placement & Snapmap features

Bethesda has announced some of the key features that will be included in the next update for DOOM. According to the publisher, DOOM’s next update will include several improvements and will introduce a new Photo Mode, as well as a Classic DOOM weapon placement/view model option.

YouTube’s member ‘DANNYonPC’ has shared a video, showing what Mirror’s Edge Catalyst looks like in third-person mode. In order to achieve something like that, DANNYonPC used the Cinematic Tools by Matti Hietanen. It’s a pretty cool video, especially since Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is designed as a first-person game (which explains why Faith’s animations are a bit stiff). Enjoy!
