Deep Silver announced today that it will publish Warhorse Studios’ upcoming first-person realistic RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, in 2017.
Deep Silver will be responsible for the PC retail version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, while Warhorse Studios will handle the digital one.

Me too, but everything looks great so far. The combat seems complex and elaborate, different ways to solve quests, plenty of stats (including a hunger meter!).

If you believe that even half of those buzzwords mean anything and are ever valid accurations you’re as mentally ill as any other SJW lunatic who fell for the shill press’ deflection campaign during GG. GG itself was a fun ride while it lasted, no complaints here, and the remnants are still out there, still occasionally calling out corruption and collusion in internet journalism. During all of GG’s heyday the only big mistakes the “movement” ever made was when individuals would donate to “feminist” charities of any sort. The weird virtue signalling was a mistake. It didn’t sway anyone, it just let a bunch of people take advantage financially. Other than wasting a bunch of money GG did nothing wrong.

This picture pretty much sums it all up. Most of these people just wanted the game to shape up to the modern standard of the PC going on in a lot of mainstream stuff. The game is trying to be as historically accurate as possible, not trying satisfy a vocal minority.

Yeah that was my mistake. I initially thought Gamergate were a pro-SJW movement with all the things that happened long ago, but never delved too much into it due to how much I like to stay away from most toxic discussions. I wouldn’t be surprised though if some of the people behind the movement are just as bad as those opposed to their thinking (feminists and such).
Gamergate were the good guys, fyi. The SJW/corrupt-press alliance were the ones who would chimp out over historical accuracy being “racist” and other non-issues.

For me, Gamergate was always about unethical practices in gaming and gaming journalism. No Man’s Sky is a Gamergate issue. Ubisoft calling 95% of PC gamers pirates is a Gamergate issue. Constant graphical downgrades from a slew of AAA games is a Gamergate issue. There was no misogyny until the media raised the issue, which actually attracted REAL misogynists to get into the fight. lol
But, like I said, ironically enough, the whole debacle proved the initial arguments made by GG about how unethical gaming journalism has become.

Never really heard of the Moors and this is coming from a African himself lol. But they do sound pretty interesting, so many untapped potential to cover new grounds on other cultures really. Like what Daniel Vavra is saying himself, he’s making a game based on a history largely connected to his culture, I really don’t understand the big fuss about that. The gaming business is massive in the west and some parts of Europe, it’s the only reason why we see historical games mainly based on those lands.
well someone can say that since moors were from africa they had some contacts with sub-saharian Africa for commercial purposes, slaves/servants/mercenaries and such. At that point is possible that a sub-Saharan black guy could go in the south part of Europe and if he was a mercenary/merchant, he could travel to where he wanted. Ofc someone cannot say this could be a widespread phenomenon but is not absurd to say that there were some black people in northern Europe, it is just highly unlikely, so unlikely that it becomes irrelevant.
Agreed. A Sub-Saharan merchant or mercenary, while extremely unlikely, is theoretically possible, if they originated from one of the coastal colonies that had trading ties to Northern Africa, Southern Europe, etc.
Of course, while it is theoretically plausible to see a Sub-Saharan merchant in Medieval Spain, Italy, Southern France, etc, the odds of seeing one as far inland as Bohemia are phenomenally astronomical, arguably, so it would most likely be a mercenary, if anything – assuming he could have picked up a European language well enough (Medieval Latin, probably?).
Either way, agreed, the presence of Sub-Saharan Africans in a historically-accurate representation of Medieval Bohemia is absolutely astronomical to the point where (not to be crass, but) including them or not is irrelevant, considering how unlikely the phenomenon in question would be in the first place.

Btw there were basically no black people in Europe during the Middle Ages. It would be very, very weird for black people to turn up in a realistic game about that time and that place. It is extremely odd to WANT to find select exceptions so you can pretend it’s a reasonable request to have black characters in the game. It isn’t.
well in northern Europe for sure, but in the south I bet there were many brought by the Moors. It is probable also that some of them fought and were not slave or servants, but I highly doubt they would have a reason to live and fight in Bohemia with all the troubles they had with the occupation of Spain etc.
Moors weren’t “black people”. Moors were North-Africans. “Black” usually refers to sub-Saharan Africans with really dark skin. Moors were about as dark as Arabs. If the devs included a bunch of Moors chances are the SJW journolist clique wouldn’t even notice it.

So far the gfx are the same as in the images above. Performance not so good as of yet.
Now I just hope they optimize it. The frame-rates are absolute trash. I’m getting 27-38 fps on a GTX 780 SC on medium settings.
If you bought an AMD 290 you would surely be getting 200fps…..huh huh huh…lol
