Super Mario Maker is considered one of the best games of WiiU. Yes, this is not a really demanding title, however things are a bit complicated when it comes to emulating console games on the PC. And we are happy to report that the latest version of the WiiU emulator, CEMU, can run this game at 30fps. Below you can find a video showing the game in action.
In order to run Super Mario Maker at 30fps, YouTube’s ‘chris gallizzi’ used an Intel i7 4790K 4.0 Ghz with an NVIDIA GTX970.
Enjoy!

Yt has it. 😀
I remember when I first saw videos of Cemu, I thought it was complete bs. It’s incredible how such a young emulator for a fairly young/powerful console has achieved these massive gains. Totally inspiring
It probably helps that the console launched with hardware that was outdated by at least 5 years, but regardless I’m happy to see CEMU making strides so quickly. I’d love to play Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 locked at 60 fps with proper AA (and not at 720p).
This must be the fastest emulator progression for a home console.
Actually the original Wii was faster, having pretty much all games working fine 2.5 years after the console launch. Best part was the ability to render (not upscale) games at 1920×1080 when the console itself could only do 640×480.
Well, the wii emulator wasn’t made from scratch. Wii used the same thing as GameCube or something. Anyway, yea the emulator was pretty darn impressive.
Dude, if it took 2.5 years then PPSSPP is the fastest. In less or a little more than a year, a lot of the games are playable to end. Although, that’s thanks to Dolphin’s emu devs discovering JIT as a good compiler for emulators
You missed the HOME CONSOLE part. But the ppsspp emu was fast as f* tho.
I run it on my android device. Pixel junk monter ultime on every train trip lol
Hmm … not really familiar with the terms. So home consoles are the big ones like xbox and PS3/4 then ?
Wow! can’t wait for it. Good job
Nintendo console is emu-friendly
Bayonetta 2 coming soon in other words?
