Multiplayer, fine. Atleast this time we won’t have to suffer through a gazillion loading screens and small arena like areas.
Physics = 0? Meele weapons look misplaced, totally out of proportions. Sorry, never was a fan of “hack ‘n slash” games. I just don’t find what is so fascinating about oversized weapons being swung a thousand times at different monsters with different sizes and colors by individuals who are granted with infinite stamina and strength.
Make a really realistic “Jurasic Park” style game instead with survival elements and really cool graphics. Oh sh*t I forgot, Crytek is already making that, OH snap! I forgot, sh*t wont even make it to the PC platform..
Am outta here!
its called fantasy
and eh.. very few games actually make sense in a realistic setting. taking cover for 4 seconds after receiving a shotgun blast to the chest wont make the wounds go away in real life :))
Play ARMA :))
thats one of the “very few games” :p
Play Red Orchestra :))
No, really, games in which you aren’t a bullet sponge are way more immersive.
obviously but all those games are all about multiplayer so obviously a realistic setting doesnt bother anyone because you can keep dieing and respawning.
in a SP game where you want to tell a story or something, its kind of a whole different thing since you cant realistically have a guy beating whole armies and whatnot
and this is a fantasy game ffs, no need to talk about realism here when its obviously not the goal of the game
I know that it’s fantasy but even fantasy games can aim for realism. A bit smaller weapons are a good step towards it, hehe.
In Battlefields weapons are so ridiculously weak… That it spoils the whole game, because we’re talking about a core thing. Why devs can’t figure out that if everyone has unnerfed, full-blown weapons, there is balance as well?
As for auto-regen: I don’t like it, I prefer mechanics like in RO2, where you have 2 bandages that can stop you from dying if you get hit in something less important than head, heart or stomach.
Yeah, and those ultra heavy swords swung with a tremendous force that can’t slice a little dinosaur in two…
Such things are very popular in East Asia but for me it’s too much bs to take :).
I don’t like when nothing in a game has real weight and heroes could just noclip outta there if they wanted.
Ahh … oh how I would love for MonHun to have this kind of graphic fidelity. If only Capcom use their newly created engine instead of using their old one to make a MonHun game. Could be just a dream forever —__— . Fuc*ing Crapcom and shi*ty practices
the problem is that monster hunter is not that popular here
Have to admit. I’m not excited.
