Reddit’s member ‘KanyeWaste69‘ has shared a set of screenshots, showing what Fallout 3 looks like with 50 graphical/visual mods. As you will notice, some of these images look similar to Skyrim, and that’s because KanyeWaste69 has used some mods that bring Skyrim’s flora to the world of Fallout. It’s a pretty interesting gallery, so go ahead and take a look!

Considering how many crashes the vanilla version had (and my modded experience), this will be one hell of a crash fest. Still it looks very beautiful and makes you consider what could be done if the companies actually cared if a six year old game can look like that

I dunno why but I cannot seem to finish Fallout 3, bought the retail GOTY and have installed it numerous times but down the line I move on and forget about it, But if we’re talking New Vegas I’ll finish that anytime ,I seriously think Bethesda should’ve contracted Obsidian to make the next installment. Think I’ll reinstall both tonight and use the Tale of Two wastlelands mod again.
Well…as for both Fallout didnt play any yet…so Im hoping hours and hours of great gameplay as Dishonored and Morrowind!
Definitely go for New Vegas first. 3 is kinda buggy, has a horrible, slow start, has much less humor, and has pretty terrible gunplay.
There are people who prefer 3 over NV, so you never know what one might like.
3 is the superior game, hence the superior scores and the superior place in gaming history it holds over New Vegas.
If you compare every element from both games, then NV is superior, starting from a better plot and many different endings and ending with various gameplay improvements such as shooting and repair mechanics.
Add in that the world felt so much better than the capitol wasteland plus the New Vegas DLC was absolutely fantastic, but if people want to play it right then Project Nevada + Hardcore mode = a damn fantastic time(nothing can touch having crippled legs no ammo and standing on a balcony with ghosts coming from both sides) also old world blues was great, they should’ve used a bit more jazz music like that in the game.
Reinstalled Fallout 3 last night like I said and hopefully for the I dunno how many-ish times I’ve tried to finsih this will be it.
Quite strange sir. Most of people that I know say that FO3 is more complex and greater than NV…but its a matter of giving it a try some hours…so far FO3 is pretty good(first night)
Bethesda probably won’t hire Obsidian again. They had an idiotic contract that said Obsidian would only get a monetary bonus if New Vegas had at least an 85 on Metacritic.

Trees in a radioactive wasteland. Nice. It’s the same stupidity with the Cinematic Mod for HL2. Out of place foliage doesn’t make a game prettier.

Really, though, mods are just about options. They don’t wipe out the original game from existing, and most people who play the game like this have probably played it vanilla already – they would just like something different.
Also, the “brown, barren wasteland” crap is so overdone I could puke. There’s even a yellowish filter over Fallout to make it *even more brown* >.< Just pretend it's farther into the future and the overgrown, green landscape is makes sense. Part of the reason I'm loving Survarium is that it goes for a sort of overgrown apocalypse that's very refreshing.

Woah! what ENB is this ? I’ve tried many ENBs but didn’t like any of it (I even customize them) so I stuck with vanilla but this one’s in my strike zone 0_0
I tried those tree mods and they may look good on screenies but in-game they don’t look that good and they are FPS hungry XD
Realism ENB by Wanny, but it includes not just ENB. It’s a combination between ENB, SweetFX and a custom weather mod.
If it doesn’t use the whole 6gb of my titan x black n white dope ultra card I won’t play it
