United Front Games has just revealed that its upcoming game based on Sleeping Dogs, Triad Wars, will be unveiled this Monday. This game is described as a PC online game, meaning that this could very well be a free-to-play Sleeping Dogs spin-off.
Basically – as Adam Jensen would say – you never really asked for this. Naturally, this may turn into something interesting, however that’s definitely not what most Sleeping Dogs fans had in mind.
Now imagine if Triad Wars has nothing to do – at all – with Sleeping Dogs. Now that would be something… well… I don’t know (though the logo basically hints towards a Sleeping Dogs game).

So the one time when developers announce a PC only game, it’s some sort of social/moba/mmo. Bioware did the same recently. Damn it. Announce a full fledged single player AAA game on PC, not another free 2 play …

I understand that they wanted to do something like this for awhile, but couldn’t they have just done a SP/MP game? ,I loved sleeping dogs so I dunno, I’ll keep an eye on this but seriously just wanted a sequel, but I may dig this if it isn’t infested with P2W, won’t be surprised if it’s set before Sleeping Dogs and its Sun on Yee fighting 18K(with the likes of Winston and Dog eyes returning among other characters (probably a GTA Online?APB type of game)
I just hope they have a true sequel in the works.For now waiting till Monday, also see many console players aren’t happy.
Let’s hope it’s like APB. But then actually a game that includes fun.
