I know, I know; petitions are meaningless at this time of age. Especially when you’re asking for a game that is considered a system seller like Halo. But oh well… some of you showed interest in this new petition so why not share it with everyone else?
As you may have heard, Microsoft will release a HD remastered pack for all previous Halo games on Xbox One. Naturally, there is no word yet for a possible PC release, something that forced fans to launch a petition and show their interest.
The first goal of this petition is to gain 250K signatures; a goal that may never be met. Those interested can show their support and sign it up here.
Now we all know that petitions merely have an impact on a game’s release, but that did work out for Dark Souls. Not only that, but the GTA V petition can be considered a success (though we all knew that Rockstar would inevitably port its latest sandbox game to our platform).
Halo: The Master Chief Collection features Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 have been properly remastered with new high resolution textures and more details.

It’s almost like they don’t understand that Halo is Xbox exclusive for a reason. Who is going to buy a console just for Halo when they can play all Halo games ever made on PC?
There is no way in hell Microsoft will bring any Halo ports or remakes to PC other than maybe Halo 3 as an exclusive for Win9/10. They only gave us a really bad Halo 2 port to sell some copies of Vista and I don’t think that attempt was particularly successful. Besides, getting a bad Halo port with an artificially small community is no better than getting no Halo at all. The petitioiners are making fools of themselves.

Why should they put them on PC, it doesn’t serve their platforms financial benefit, and most of their studios which dont have PC titles are 1st partys. Microsoft’s platforms are Windows and Xbox, so it makes sense for their titles to come to Microsoft Windows if they want to make money on both of their platforms, their loss would be when people dont want to buy their £400-500 system.
The only reason exlusives exist is to use the 12 year old logic “see this? well you cant have it, it is exlusive for our system” you didnt care that much in the first place but now that you CANT have it, you kinda want it.
I dont think nitendo has anything to fear fom pc, then again they only exist because they make games not becuase their consoles are good.
