NVIDIA has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 616.56 WHQL driver is optimized for STAR WARS Zero Company, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
This driver also comes with a couple of gaming bugs. To be more precise, DOOM: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Frame rate will no longer exceed V-SYNC when DLSS Frame Generation 3x or higher is used. Moreover, Outer Worlds will no longer suffer from texture flickering.
The NVIDIA GeForce 616.56 WHQL driver also has some other general bug fixes. For instance, it fixes an issue that could prevent the GameVisual color profiles in ASUS Armory Crate to be applied when using R590 drivers.
Chief Architect will no longer crash on the GeForce RTX 4000 series GPUs. Claude Desktop will no longer be detected as a 3D app. Furthermore, the driver fixes an issue that could cause a driver crash with 32-bit DirectX 12 apps. Plus, Tycho Tracker will be able to create individual OpenCL buffers greater than 2GB.
