New trailers have just been released for the RTX Remix Path Tracing Mods of Mirror’s Edge, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Painkiller. So, if you are a fan of them, you should definitely check them out.
The RTX Remix Mod for Mirror’s Edge is created by modder softsoundd. The project uses RTX Remix to rebuild materials with Physically Based Rendering (PBR) properties and leverages NVIDIA technologies including full ray tracing, DLSS, and more.
This trailer showcases footage from the first version of the Remix mod. This version came out in March 2026 and lets you enjoy the Prologue with real-time Path Tracing. Those interested can find a download link for it in this article.
The RTX Remix Mod for Painkiller is created by Merry Pencil Studio. Yesterday, a new update came out for it that adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction. The mod currently overhauls 15 levels.
Then we have the RTX Remix Mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. This mod is in a very early development phase. Its trailer offers us a first look at how RTX Remix can transform Morrowind’s distinctive world with modern assets and cutting-edge RTX technologies.
Finally, NVIDIA’s Jacob Freeman has shared a video for an upcoming RTX Remix Path Tracing Mod of Fallout 4.
Right now, there is no ETA for when the first public version of this mod will come out. However, we have another similar RTX Remix Mod for Morrowind that you can download right now. So, if you cannot wait for Gokuwashere’s version, you can try this one.
If you want to play some other older games with Path Tracing, you can try the following mods. For instance, you can find Path Tracing mods for Black Mesa, Star Wars Republic Commando, Need for Speed Carbon, NFS: Underground, and Manhunt.
