Some new cool PC demos have been released during the Steam Next Fest – June 2026 Edition. As such, I’ve decided to share those I found interesting in one big article. So, let’s dive in.
Let’s start with Mistfall Hunter. This is a dark fantasy extraction ARPG. Players can combine skills, talents, and gear for each class in thrilling combat. Personally, I’m not a fan of extraction games. However, if you want a Souls-like extraction game, you can give this a go. You can download its demo from here.
The next PC demo is for EMPULSE. EMPULSE is an upcoming fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter, inspired by the Titanfall series. Players can wall-run, grapple, Holojump, pilot mechs, and P.A.I.N.T. their way through Freehold’s vertical streets. You can download its demo from this link.
Then we have Enginefall. Enginefall is a player-driven crafting shooter set on colossal, post-apocalyptic megatrains. Players will start in the tail alone or with friends as they scavenge, craft, and build their way to First Class. They will seize better gear car by car, and escape with high-value loot to upgrade their personal home on the rails. You can download its demo from here.
Nightdive Studios has also released a PC demo for SiN Reloaded. SiN: Reloaded is a completely remastered experience of the 1998 shooter. SiN: Reloaded comes with remastered graphics and overhauled control schemes, and you can download its demo from here.
Next, we have the PC demo for MOTORSLICE. MOTORSLICE is an action-adventure that feels like a mix of Mirror’s Edge and Shadow of Colossus. Players can parkour through the ruins of a megastructure, climb massive bosses, and hunt down every piece of construction equipment. You can download its demo from here.
Bandai Namco has also shared a PC demo for Echoes of Aincrad. Echoes of Aincrad is a new JRPG that is powered by Unreal Engine 5. The demo has five full missions to tackle and lots of weapons to try out. You can download it from this link.
Another Action RPG that uses Unreal Engine 5 is DragonSword: Awakening. In this game, players can explore the anime-style open world of the Continent of Orbis. Players can recruit unique companions, unleash spectacular Status Ailment tag-team action, and embark on an epic journey to save the world from the threat of a Dragon reawakened after 60 years. You can download its PC demo from here.
JRPG fans can also try Edge of Memories. In this game, you play as Eline, a young nomad. You will have to lead fierce battles alongside your allies to save the world from extinction. The demo features a portion of the game’s first chapter and offers nearly two hours of content. You can download it from here.
Have fun!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
