VGC has shared a video, showcasing almost four minutes of gameplay footage from the new arcade racer, CLUTCH. This video is from a pre-release build, meaning that it does not represent the quality of the final version. Still, it will give you a glimpse at what the devs aim to create.
In CLUTCH, players live the life of a modern street racer. During the day, they compete in official racing events against skilled drivers. At night, they enter the underground racing scene, where the stakes are much higher.
Players will take part in high-speed getaway missions, escape from intense police chases, and deal with unexpected events on the road. Every race and every chase will help create a unique story of rivalry, risk, and ambition.
Players can build their reputation by taking part in high-risk races, intense chases, and dynamic events across the game world. They will also be able to escape from dangerous situations, upgrade their skills, and rise through the ranks of the racing scene.
The game will also let players customize their cars and use experimental ClutchTech mods to gain an edge on the road. According to the devs, CLUTCH will also feature a deep vehicle upgrade system, giving players many ways to improve and fine-tune their cars.
Maverick Games plans to release CLUTCH sometime in 2027.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
