Control Resonant feature-1

Control Resonant Will Support Path Tracing on PC

Remedy and NVIDIA have confirmed that Control Resonant will support Path Tracing on PC. This should come as a surprise, as Remedy’s previous game, Alan Wake 2, also supported Path Tracing on PC.

Alongside Path Tracing, Control Resonant will also support NVIDIA RTX Mega Geometry, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and DLSS 4.5 with Multi-Frame Gen.

In Control Resonant, players take on the role of Dylan Faden. As Dylan, they will explore large parts of a city overrun by the Hiss, the Mold, and other dangerous supernatural threats.

Along the way, players will meet strange people and mysterious creatures in the ruined streets of Manhattan. They will help Dylan learn the truth about his past, uncover the secrets of the FBC, and face powerful threats that could put all of humanity in danger.

Control Resonant will feature a deep progression system that helps Dylan become stronger as the game goes on. Players will unlock new abilities and learn how to deal with tougher threats. They will also build important relationships with other characters. As Dylan grows more powerful, he must fight to keep his humanity. His journey will take him from a former test subject to a powerful paranatural weapon.

Instead of using guns, Control Resonant focuses on close-range combat. Players can use objects in the environment, unleash elemental powers, and fight with Dylan’s shape-shifting weapon, the Aberrant.

The Aberrant can change into different forms at any time. It can become a huge two-handed hammer for strong attacks or turn into a pair of fast blades for quick strikes. This will let players switch between fighting styles and adapt to different enemies and situations.

Remedy will release Control Resonant on September 24. You can also find its PC system requirements here.
