Wright Flyer Studios has announced that its new time-travelling JRPG, Another Eden Begins, will be released in Summer 2026. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared the game’s debut trailer, which you can find below.
The main story is a deep, well-written adventure with full voice acting. It even features a main theme song by Yasunori Mitsuda, along with music created by Procyon Studios using folk instruments and a full orchestra.
The game uses strategic command-based battles where you build teams based on each character’s role and how well they work together. By doing this, you can unlock extra skills. Players can also use the power of Another Force to deliver huge attacks and turn the tide of battle.
After finishing the main story, you can start again with New Game+. All your characters keep their strength, and your actions and choices will decide which of the 10+ different endings you get.
The man who leads the project is none other than Masato Kato. Masato Kato was the writer of two classic JRPGs, Chrono Trigger and Xenogears. So, if you are fans of them, you should at least watch the trailer.
While the concept sounds great, the trailer did not convince me. The graphics and art style look kind of bad. I mean, I’ve seen other JRPGs from small teams that look way better. The English voiceover wasn’t that good, either. So, in my opinion, the team should release a demo so that players can try it.
Anyway, enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
