Bloober Team has just released a PC demo for its latest horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn. This demo will let you experience the first mission. You will find the Predecessor, test the Traveler’s gear, and face your first encounters with the merging enemies.
As the devs have noted, players will get to play the intro and first mission of the Traveler, whose goal is to find a missing predecessor. This part of the game teaches you the basics of combat, the creepy merge mechanic, and the dark world of Cronos: The New Dawn. You’ll use at least two weapons, starting with a simple handgun called the Sword MK-1615. Firepower is key to survival, and Cronos: The New Dawn gives you plenty of weapons to discover.
You can play and replay the demo as many times as you like. The world of Cronos: The New Dawn throws you into a brutal post-apocalyptic wasteland full of deadly creatures, scarce resources, and tough choices. Along the way, keep an eye out for cats—you might even get a chance to pet a few as you progress.
Cronos: The New Dawn is easily a contender for my GOTY. This is a game I really enjoyed. Its story is amazing, and its gameplay mechanics are solid. If you are a fan of Dead Space, I highly recommend trying it. Yes, the game is a bit demanding as it uses Unreal Engine 5. However, this is a must-have for all horror fans. At least in my opinion.
You can go ahead and download the demo from this link.
Have fun!

I found it derivative and not bringing anything too interesting to the table, it runs terribly for what you see, bugs and such. Nice UE5 ad, like most of this site, disgusting tbh.
What some YouTube commentators weer hailing as this new Dead Space successor turned out to be a mere pretender.
If i got paid to play garbage i would probably say nice things about it…
true very difficult and being difficult made it way to boring .
I for one loved it and totally recommend it.
Played through the full game and NG+
Just played an hour or so of demo, and quite enjoying it despite not normally being a survival horror fan. This edges it due to the exploration and decent combat.
You can pet the cat? I'll alert r/ wholesome immediately. We need reddit on the case.
