GTA San Andreas in Unreal Engine 5

Take a look at this cool fan remake of GTA San Andreas in Unreal Engine 5

YouTube’s EnzoElRich YT has shared a video, showcasing what a remake of GTA: San Andreas could look like in Unreal Engine 5. This is a very cool video that a lot of GTA fans may find interesting. So, be sure to check it out.

For this fan remake, the creator rebuilt the famous intro scene. To make it feel just like the original, he used the same camera angles and original character voices. You can also see CJ walking around the city, riding a bike, and driving a car.

Now, as with most fan remakes, this is made by one person. As such, you should temper your expectations. You will easily find some shortcomings and issues here and there. For instance, the walking animations for some of the NPCs are not that fluid, and they appear to be locked at 15FPS. You may also see some cars floating. With more polish, this could have looked better. Still, for what it really is, this is kind of cool.

In total, we get almost 20 minutes of gameplay. So, in a way, this is better than most of the fan remakes we’ve gotten this far. Just make sure to temper your expectations. This isn’t what a fan remake that can challenge the visuals of a next-gen GTA game.
