Nixxes has just released Patch 1.3 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered and shared its complete changelog. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Update 1.3 fixes a bug that caused blood splatter screen effects to briefly disappear when quickly moving the camera or dodging. It also makes the dynamic blood drip effect to be visible on body parts when shot or wounded by a melee attack. This is something for which a lot of players complained about. In fact, some people used this so that they could prove that the PS5 Pro was superior to the PC version. So, it’s a good thing that Nixxes has fixed this bug.
The game should also be more stable now. The devs have fixed a crash that could occur for some players when performing a quick turn after completing an interaction. Moreover, players will no longer fall out of bounds while riding on horseback through Seattle.
The patch also packs various visual bug fixes related to animation and lighting in ultrawide cutscenes. Plus, it fixes a bug that introduced ghosting when FSR Frame Generation was used at low resolutions. Oh, and there should be fewer noise and artifacts now while aiming through a rifle scope.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. The patch is around 382MB in size. So, this is a small one. Still, it packs some important fixes. Below, you can also find its complete changelog. So, go ahead and take a look at it.

- Resolved a bug that caused Steam Status to show “At the Main Menu” when playing No Return.
- Fixed a bug that introduced ghosting when FSR Frame Generation was used with a display resolution lower than the native screen resolution.
- Fixed a visual bug that caused lighting in dark underwater sections to appear pixelated when both upscaling and motion blur were enabled.
- Fixed a rare bug that caused some players to fall out of bounds while riding on horseback through Seattle.
- Various visual bug fixes related to animation and lighting in ultrawide cutscenes.

They always patch these damn games after I finish them. The Seattle horseback riding thing did happen to me once and it was actually more funny and surprising than it was maddening. After finishing the game after all these years of people saying how awful it was, I think that many people were truly just butt hurt about joel, couldnt look past that and invented other reasons to dislike it.
The constant shader loads kill this game.
I don't understand why they can't give an option to run the whole shader process from the menu. Like in Part 1.

Too late, I already finished it but I will definitely go back again.
It's one those games like max payne 1 and 2 which every once in a while you get an urge to fck around the combat again, it's very satisfying and just feels great to play.
Also, I'm not a story guy but the story in this game is THE best story ever told in any game. It's so good that I didn't skip cutscenes. I've finished GTA IV 5 times and I still don't know their names or what the story is about but this game made think.
What an amazing experience, I love Abby so much despite the fact that her s3x scene with Owen looked like gay s*x.

Well, that means May 2027 for PC 😛
I doubt I will wait that long to play GTA VI on pc or pc games in general in the near future considering the lack of optimization, which is worse than ever. A better pc won’t save me from shader compilation issues, traversal stutters or bad frame pacing, etc. A new or a second hand console and physical games that I can sell afterwards might be a better option for me. Will see.

The gameplay is much wider and more vertical, levels are bigger and more fun.
First one was 70% dealing with "hunters", I HATED IT.
Joel was OK up until the Cannibal level where he turned into emotional sissy and when he chose his feels over HUMANITY, I started to hate him and im glad hes dead, I would cut Elly myself if it meant ill get immunity, nothing is more important than me and if i can save humanity on the way, sure why not.
Ellie had more guts and manliness than Joel, she was ready to die for humanity and that has to be respected.
