Nixxes has released Title Update 1.2 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Patch 1.2 updates AMD FSR to version 3.1.1 and resolves excessive jitter on Steam Deck when using FSR Frame Generation. It also resolves an issue with DLSS Frame Gen. Enabling NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation in the launcher now increases the frame rate by the same amount as enabling it in the in-game Display menu.
The game should also be more stable now. As the devs noted, they have fixed a crash that could occur when loading into a cutscene with a wide FOV setting. They have also fixed a bug that could cause Direct3D Invalid Call crashes.
Update 1.2 also comes with some visual tweaks. For instance, it resolves shadow pop-in issues on the side of a building and flickering in a blood stain on the floor of a building in the Capitol Hill area. It also fixes an issue that could cause dark lines to appear in volumetric fog during camera movement on ultrawide aspect ratios. Plus, refracted light in the aquarium will no longer affected by high frame rates.
This patch also fixes a couple of annoying bugs. First, it fixes a problem where players couldn’t shoot right after restarting a checkpoint with the mouse. It also fixes a bug where the player would shoot by accident after a stealth kill if the [R] key was set to Reload, Quick Throw, or Use.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

FSR3 FG still broken mess Feel unsmooth stutter
The FSR FG seems to be fixed for me on 5070 ti, it`s smooth now.
The DLSS FG behaves a bit strange, it doesn`t add nearly as much fps as FSR FG in this game.
On the 5070 ti with max settings 4k dlss4 quality in the forest scene with young Abby I have 93 fps without FG, 133 fps with the DLSS FG and 155 fps with the FSR FG.
So for now I will test FSR FG more and see how it feels.
after going to another area and a lot of alt tabbing in the meantime FSR FG got broken again and is usmooth while DLSS FG is perfectly smooth so I`ll keep using it till next patch at least it seems xD
Only downside is that DLSS FG performance scaling is poor in this game for some reason, still, I`m getting 130-200 fps in 4k so it`s not all that bad.
I finished the game and they still haven't fixed the blood. I should have pirated this game but I wanted to support them. I want part 3 so bad, I went from hating Abby to understanding her perspective then to absolutely loving her.
I want Ellie to ditch Dina and marry Abby instead.
For those who don't know, Abby isn't just a woman with an oddly big clitoris, she's actually a beautiful transgender woman who was born with male parts, that's why she's into Lev who's a dude with a hairy p*ssy.
Neil wanted to show how we can reverse the roles and still love each other despite how confusing it might get.
Who am I to say whose finger has to go inside which hole? love is love, I myself wouldn't mind some bellybutton play if anyone is interested.

They haven't fixed FSR3 FG not working either
Use xess or lossless scaling
Terrible advice. FSR3 FG needs to work, full stop. There’s no need for LSFG. Also XeSS for FG? I don’t have ARC.
Great advice for upscaling since it’s better than fsr, you can also use lossless scaling for fg until they fix whatever you’re whining about.
LSFG is terrible advice still, given I can make FSR3.1 FG work using Optiscaler + Nukem like I said.
But I know about that. Most people don't.
Back when I was testing FG on the Steam Deck, I usually had better results by using a DLSS-to-FSR mod rather than using the FSR implementation shipped by the games, so feel free to give that a try and see if it makes any difference.
It absolutely DOES work properly when using Opti+Nukem, it still should work naturally as well. It’s literally the same issue TLOU1 had when they introduced FSR3 FG.
No return mode now compiles shaders every single time you load into maps or return to hideout
