NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 566.45 Available for Download

NVIDIA has released a new hotfix driver for its graphics cards. The NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 566.45 comes with two fixes. So, let’s take a look at them.

So, this new hotfix driver fixes some intermittent micro-stuttering issues that could occur in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It also improves stability for pretty much all Ubisoft games using the Snowdrop engine.

And that’s it. This driver does not come with any performance improvements. It also does not bring any other application fixes. So, make sure to use it only if you’re playing the new Indiana Jones or a Ubisoft game. Otherwise, there is no point in updating your driver.

It’s also worth noting that NVIDIA has updated its App. By default, the app will no longer use/enable Game Filters. As such, you won’t encounter any performance degradation upon installing it. This will please those who previously had performance issues with it.

  1. What does improve stability means exactely ?
I do play The Division 1 & 2 WD Legion Avatar.. and i have Indian Jones.. but i use Lossless Scaling to have extreem smooth experience so im wondering what they mean with it ?

  2. Thats it? Stalker 2 won't even get to the splash screen without crashing from shader issues and nvidia isn't even going to address this?

  3. The Ubi games that needed fixes was for previous anvil engine, Valhalla for example is a disaster for constant crashes and freezes, When you view windows event viewer it mentions Nvidia nvlddmkm, lot of people in forums have the same issue.
