STALKER 2 new screenshots-2

Here are 10 minutes of new gameplay footage from STALKER 2

At Gamescom 2024, GSC GameWorld had a playable demo for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. So below, you can find 10 minutes of new gameplay footage from it. This video shows off a never-before-seen area at night. As such, I highly recommend watching it.

STALKER 2 will be using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature incredible graphics. Back in June 2021, the team also shared the game’s preliminary PC requirements. Do note though that these PC specs do not represent the final ones.

Contrary to other Unreal Engine 5 games, STALKER 2 will be also available on Steam. According to its Steam store page, the game won’t have Denuvo. So, that’s good news for those who boycott the games using it. Unless the devs add it at the last minute. Now that will be a bummer.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promises to have a huge, realistic world to explore. You’ll get to wander around a massive 64-square-kilometer radioactive zone. This zone will be filled with all kinds of post-apocalyptic environments. Not only that but players will get to decide how their story unfolds. Additionally, the devs claim that the game will have a highly branching epic story.

STALKER 2 will have a dynamic day-night cycle and weather system. The game also promises to have an advanced AI, and a life-simulating system “A-life 2.0”. Furthermore, there will be modding support, as well as a multiplayer mode (which will be added soon after release as a free update).

GSC GameWorld will release STALKER 2 on November 20th. In case you did not know, the game was delayed numerous times. So, let’s hope that it will be worth the wait.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

      1. the screen freezing for a second or two was a feature back when the game came out it happened when you script alot the game had to stop to load assets.

      1. same i dont get why not use the old stalker hud, i loved how it felt like part of the pda or something like fallout 1 and 2.

        1. With videogames becoming more popular, standarization is inevitable and that applies to HUDs too…see how every RPG menu is basically the same since Witcher 3 more or less, so boring and without anything that makes it stand out.
Add to that they are design with TV's in mind, so they have to be huge…those awful key prompts in Stalker 2 for instance that take out any sense of immersion.
The OG was so fitting for the aesthetic and had personality while being minimal, and you could tell which game was in a glance, now it looks like it was taken from those "muh hardcore survival" mods like Gamma.

          1. Speak for yourself, the UI and HUD in a game is the main source of interaction and information and overall presentation…i wouldn't call that minor.

          2. i hate what stalker anomaly has done to stalker, all these morons who love it should play story mods instead, stalker does not need free to play levels of grinding.
