IGN has shared a new trailer for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl which gives us a glimpse at the game’s world and locations. This trailer features in-engine footage, so it can give you a glimpse at what the PC version will look like.
STALKER 2 will be using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature incredible graphics. Back in June 2021, the team also shared the game’s preliminary PC requirements. Do note though that these PC specs do not represent the final ones.
Contrary to other Unreal Engine 5 games, STALKER 2 will be also available on Steam. According to its Steam store page, the game won’t have Denuvo. So, that’s good news for those who boycott the games using it.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promises to have a huge, realistic world for you to explore. You’ll be able to roam around a huge 64-square-kilometer area that’s radioactive. This area will have lots of different post-apocalyptic settings. Plus, you get to choose how your story goes. The devs say the game will have a really big and branching story As such, each playthrough will be unique. Or at least that’s what GSC GameWorls claims.
It’s also worth noting that the game will have a dynamic day-night cycle and weather system. Plus, STALKER 2 promises to have an advanced AI, and a life-simulating system “A-life 2.0”. Furthermore, there will be modding support as well as a multiplayer mode. Do note though that the MP mode won’t be available at launch. Instead, it will be coming via a free post-launch update.
GSC GameWorld plans to release the game on November 20th. I also recommend watching this 30-minute gameplay video that the company shared a couple of days ago.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

much better than the previous trailer, interior areas and night time looks much better than day time.
They're gonna delay it again.
I felt nothing
I mean visually looks nice…the game, we'll see. If it's dumbed down, then it's gonna suck.
I really don't care how this turns out (at launch)…. as long as there is mod support, this will become one of the greatest games of the decade.
Atmosphere is not right, it looks like a shooter in UE5. Looks fine otherwise.
Looks great and feels kinda like Metro games, which i love
Maybe I'll play it once my Putin takes over Ukraine completely. 😊
Never gonna play it, loser.
Wonder if the devs are going remember games are meant for escapism and resist injecting their own flavour of political messaging in the game. If this has "muh russia bad" all over it I'm going to skip it.
