Murkl Mario just uploaded a new video, showcasing two hours of gameplay from Project L33T. Project L33T is powered by Unreal Engine 5. This is a hardcore tactical extraction shooter and has both player versus environment and player versus player elements. The footage is from the latest beta phase launched by Holmgard Games earlier this month.
Project L33T aims to provide players with an amazing gaming experience. The game will mix the tactical intensity of games like Escape from Tarkov with lots of cool new features. Or at least that’s what its devs claimed when they announced it back in February.
In the game, weapons will behave just like in real life. They can jam, overheat, and wear out. Plus, you can customize and modify them however you like.
Project L33T will have some RPG elements, like health and physical traits. The devs are also adding things like hydration, energy levels, injuries, and even being drunk or tired. So, expect some survival elements too.
In the game, you can make your character look however you want, choose their clothes, and gear up. You’ll control your character smoothly, changing their speed and stance easily. You can lean, lie down, jump over things, climb, and use ropes with help from other players to get to high places. To get better, you’ll find training manuals in the game to learn new skills and become a master at taking down enemies.
Project LEET definitely seems to have potential. However, I don’t know whether there is a big crowd for yet another extraction shooter.
Holmgard Games plans on launching Project L.3.3.T. in early access in the second half of 2024.

Holmgard Games is the same team of people who were in Arktos Entertainment, they “made” games like: War Inc, WarZ, Outbreak New Dawn (WarZ reskin), Shattered Skies.

Just the name alone makes me not take this game seriously. Who the hell uses “l33t” anymore for “elite”. I haven’t seen that in use in over a decade on the net. It was goofy even back then when the kids thought it was cool.

you know whats funny? Seeing all these extraction shooters UE5 or whatever tech, looking like a cheap imitation of a stinky crap compared to Tarkov, which has its issues with old Unity engine on its own but still feels and looks like ferrari in comparison.
