Cyberpunk 2077 Unrecord Mod

You Won’t Believe How Insanely Good Cyberpunk 2077 Looks With This “Unrecord” Mod

YouTube’s ‘NextGen Dreams’ has shared a video, showcasing Cyberpunk 2077 with a Reshade Mod that is heavily inspired by the upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered game, Unrecord. And, as you will see, Cyberpunk 2077 can look like a next-gen game. Hell, this could be the most photorealistic gameplay footage we’ve seen to date.

To make CP2077 look this good, NextGen Dreams used their own Unrecord Bodycam Reshade Mod, alongside Nova LUT and Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project. They have also used the Immersive First Person and Unlocked FOV Mods. Moreover, they’ve removed all the HUD elements in order to provide a more realistic look.

The end result is truly spectacular. This is what you’d expect to see in a next-gen console PS6 or Xbox Next game. Yet here we are on PC enjoying this kind of graphics, today. And, to be honest, I’ll be really impressed if the next-gen consoles manage to provide this kind of graphics.

You see, NextGen Dreams used an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 to run the game. That was with Path Tracing and with DLSS 3.5 Frame Generation. So, to make CP2077 look this good, you’ll need a top-of-the-line PC system. Still, the results speak for themselves.

For what is worth, the Unrecord Bodycam Reshade Mod is not yet available for download. On the other hand, all the other mods I mentioned can be downloaded from NexusMods.

If you’re into Cyberpunk 2077, there are some other cool mods you should check out. For instance, you can download the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, a mod that can significantly improve the game’s draw distance, and other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Oh, and don’t forget these mods that allow you to play as Ciri from The Witcher 3.

Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that enhances the game’s Police System. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API which enables ChatGPT support. Let’s also not forget Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked. There is also this mod that fixes the game’s broken Ray Tracing Reflections. And finally, this mod restores 100 NPCs that were cut from the game.

Have fun!

  1. This is what you’d expect to see in a next-gen console PS6 or Xbox Next game.

It will be interesting to see if Microsoft can really match their recent claim that the next-gen Xbox will be “the biggest leap ever” and if that leap in performance will only be possible thanks to “the power of the cloud”, as their leaked internal document suggests:

    https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1818649a2a8e220dd86449ecef94c064f91b4151711d14203ab4b04e163e501e.png

      1. Well, both Microsoft & Sony will be stuck with AMDGPUs for all eternity if they want to keep their respective backwards compatibilty between console generations, because AMD’s GPU division is willing to go out of their way in order to maintain the same ISA between GPU generations since the very first GCN architecture all the way back in 2011.

And yes, that is one of the reasons why they are lagging behind NVIDIA (the other part being major investments into software engineering).

      2. the rx 7600 performs identically to the rtx 4060 apart from ray tracing and its cheaper. Ryzen cpus are quite good, amd is catching up.

        1. GPU wise at that level you would also have to suffer AMD’s inferior upscaling and frame generation while missing out on Nvidia’s AI based HDR injection. And of course you wouldn’t get to use G-Sync either. CPU wise I agree AMD are doing well.

          1. the diffirence between rx 6600 and 7600 is massive 3060 and 4060 is nearly identical, so they are improving, their cpus used to suck.

    1. Next gen” consoles and games will be full on DRM-service crap where you own nothing. I’ll be playing GOG and indie games instead, games that I actually get to own.

The only 2 decent games so far this year have been Enshrouded and Pacific Drive, both offline games, both from small developers.

  2. The first few seconds are not from CP, so thats misleading. You can clearly see when the change from the fake footage to actual footage occurs.

  3. The lens distortion is annoying, and hurts my eyes. They also seem to have desaturated the colors in an attempt to make the visuals look more “realistic”. If someone thinks that the desaturated look is more realistic and wants to play the game that way, then that’s just a single ReShade shader.

  4. What I don’t believe is how insanely woke this game is. No thanks.

    1. yeah and the militant tranee community over at nexisnotsee site has almost taken over mods and for sure has taken over the images section it’s grossaf, nexisnotsees are the same types, total degenerate dbags

  5. NovaLUT is interesting – can look realistic, but too desaturated and the sky gets blown-out exposure. PreemLUT is better imo

  6. Dammit, Johnny. Please START the article with “If you have an RTX 4090 just lying around in your spare wallet….”. I mean this mod look great and all, but I know YOU and only a fraction of gamers have this GPU. The rest of us peasants didn’t spend all our hard-earned $$ on this luxury.

    1. other than super silky fps, you can get this look no 4090 required, with reshades and nova lut or gits might be better, he also released Edge Lut to mimic the reshade presets that ask for pay.

  7. bodycam suxasses also makes me wanna puke, also all these ‘photorealistic’ reshades/luts look like sh*t, game looks so much better on 1500+ hdr on qd oled as it is frankly

  8. It’s been trendy lately to do this, theCyanaideX the maker of nova and many other great mods also did a bodycam mod released a couple days ago, I saw another modder not the one above, do a bodycam mod and filmic VHS reshade is an even older camera 80s style in the bodycam look. Oh and no UE5 needed btw

  9. From start to finish, this blog post had us hooked. The content was insightful, entertaining, and had us feeling grateful for all the amazing resources out there. Keep up the great work!

  10. Realism, outside of the handful of games that actually benefit from it, can quite frankly f*k off.

“Realism” applied to gameplay undermines fun. “Realism” applied to aesthetics undermines visual appeal, with everything tending towards the same washed out mundanity.
