Focus Entertainment has shared an official gameplay breakdown trailer for DON’T NOD’s upcoming story driven action RPG, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, players will solve haunting cases and battle supernatural forces combining Antea’s spiritual powers and Red’s arsenal. Moreover, the developers claim that your decisions will have dramatic consequences.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be using Unreal Engine 5. However, it will not take advantage of its main UE5 features, like Lumen or Nanite. At launch, the game will also support NVIDIA DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 2.2. Additionally, the devs plan to add support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation via a post-launch update.
Focus Entertainment plans to release this new action RPG on February 13th. You can also find here its official PC system requirements.

I dunno. Dontnod does some nice graphics, but I’m not confident they can create a convincing fantasy world. I recall Vampyr was a World War I setting where everyone had the mind of either a 21st century college student or a cartoon slumlord.

In this case it’s a fantasy version of early colonial America so it makes sense, but I don’t have confidence in their storytelling.
I tried a demo of the first chapter of Life is Strange once and got as far as cracking open the main character’s journal and reading her musings. I shut it down. In my canon the poor larval drama queen died painlessly of a brain embolism right there in her photography class.
