Modder ‘WasteTheLand’ has released a cool mod for Fallout 4 that adds ragdoll physics and collision to dead bodies. Thanks to this mod, players will be able to interact with dead bodies. This mod also removes the idle animation when an NPC is dead.
For those unaware, the game adds by default an animation to the NPC when dead. This will send most NPC (models) far away into the sky. By removing the animation and replacing them with ragdoll physics, NPCs are no longer “flying away”. There are still some NPCs that behave weirdly. However, the game is now better than before.
By default, in the game, players can’t bump into or walk over dead bodies – they just sort of pass through them as if the bodies aren’t there. This mod changes that. With the mod, players will collide with the dead bodies, treating them like any other object in the game.
If you are interested in this mod, you can download it from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a video that showcases it in action. So, be sure to watch it.
Speaking of Fallout 4, we also suggest downloading these other mods for it. You can find an LOD mod that reduces distant objects/shadows/textures pop-ins. Then we have the Disk Cache Enabler Mod. Another amazing mod is this one that fixes the game’s long loading times. DirectHit is a mod that overhauls the AI of enemies. And let’s not forget this mod that adds real locational damage to all enemies.
Before closing, we should mention some upcoming DLC-sized mods for Fallout 4. Fallout New Vegas Remake in Fallout 4 is a mod we’re really looking forward to. Then we have the Fallout London fan expansion. And let’s not forget Fallout: Miami. All of them look interesting, though there is no ETA on when they will come out.
Have fun!

That’s good, now it only needs to add weight, because bodies are not paper weight.
Bodies make for excellent paper weights! 😀
It reminds me of Dead Space ragdolls, ragdolls is better than nothing, but i would appreciate if the bodies actually had weight in them.
