Super Mario RPG got leaked and guess what? You can already play it on your PC. What’s cool is that both Yuzu and Ryujinx can run this new Mario game on PC. So, if you prefer one emulator over the other, you can use it and play it.
Needless to say, we won’t allow links to pirated content. So, don’t bother asking for links to the ROM. Don’t also bother sharing any torrent download links in Comments. We’ll delete them.
This isn’t the first time that something like this has happened, you know? Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom were already playable on PC before they officially came out. And get this, last month, PC gamers got to play Super Mario Wonder even before it hit the Nintendo Switch.
Not only that but a bunch of other Nintendo Switch games were up and running on those emulators the day they hit the stores. Like, Red Dead Redemption, Bayonetta 3, Monster Hunter Rise, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, and Pikmin 4 – all playable on PC right from day one.
Super Mario RPG was one of my favorite SNES games. This is a turn-based RPG, similar to the Final Fantasy games that came out on Nintendo’s 16-bit console. It also sported some incredible 16-bit graphics. This, alongside Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct, was a visual treat on it. Man, I miss those days.

Actually, John, that Yuzu video you linked to shows the game booting up on an Android smartphone of all possible devices and configurations.

I wasn’t aware that Rumble wouldn’t respond immediately to DMCA takedown requests. Do they actually attempt to verify their validity before acting on them, or do they give the video uploader a chance to dispute the claim before they take action?
Youtube and Twitter use algorithms that detect the video within seconds.
Rumble doesn’t have this capacity to do that afaik. Nintendo probably has no idea what it is. Peertube and Mastodon are decentralised so Nintendo has no central authority to file a complaint against.

I think the average DSOG user prefers richer gameplay than that.
They’ve upped the challenge in this version of the game. There are special versions of every enemy you can encounter that are much harder to kill and drop a frog coin upon succeeding. Some of these seem stronger than the early bosses.
I think that was the point. And yet its still one of the Best JRPG’s on the Snes..

A number of Nintendo’s games are designed phenomenally and fully enjoyable by adults. Classic case of “don’t judge a book by its cover”.
It’s truly asinine they won’t pull a Capcom and realize how much potential sales they’ll receive by putting their games on other platforms, especially PC.

Idk nintendont might actually be leaking this themselves, only sales they’re losing are to those who have switches who use these but usually those types just buy an official copy anyways. With the digital only option for switch owners it seems like maybe they’ll have win versions at some point. Prob make more on new releases if they just cut out the hardware development etc costs and like sega moved over to software only.
