Modder “Keen” released a cool new mod for Cyberpunk 2077. Keen made a fancy HD Texture Pack that makes the game’s main NPCs look way better. This pack cranks up the quality of their textures to a super sharp 4K resolution. How did he do it? Well, Keen used some smart AI tricks as well as some manual fine-tuning in photo-editing software.
The NPC Re-Texture Project 2077, in its latest version, makes the game look much better. It gives a makeover to characters like Judy Álvarez, Evelyn Parker, Panam Palmer, Goro Takemura, Kerry Eurodyne, River Ward, Hanako Arasaka, 8ug8ear, and Placide. This pack even works on Solomon Reed and Song So Mi from the Phantom Liberty expansion. They all get a fancy upgrade.
What’s even better is that the modder has big plans. Keen wants to make more characters in the game look better too. In the next updates, they’ll improve the textures of characters like Sandayu Oda, Simon (Royce) Randall, Saul Bright, Oswald (Woodman) Forrest, Ziggy Q, and Ozob Bozo. So, even more characters will get a cool upgrade.
You can grab this HD Texture Pack by clicking on this link. It should work together with the HD Reworked Project. These projects upgrade different textures, so they should go hand in hand.
If you’re into Cyberpunk 2077, there are some other cool mods you should check out. You can get the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker, which makes taking pictures even cooler. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, and other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Oh, and don’t forget the Metro System Mod. Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that enhances the game’s Police System. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API which enables ChatGPT support.
Lastly, here are some pictures that show the modded textures on the left and the regular ones on the right for comparison.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

My main issue is that the TAA in this game is so strong it will ruin any kind of texture quality.
My first couple of hours in Cyberpunk 2077 were spent finding out why the game looked so damn ugly. The TAA just smears and breaks everything.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one! TAA, FXAA, and other low-end anti-aliasing are extraordinary in how enabling even one can kill the entire look of a video game’s artwork. The blurry vaseline filters that they are should have been killed off in video games 10 years ago
There is a forum on reddit called (the f word) taa where people try and find workarounds. Or help eachother to improve image quality.
There are multiple ways of doing TAA:
Very strong TAA with lots of samples is used to hide ugly effects, shimmering and aliasing and can absolutely destroy games
(Cyberpunk TAA, Witcher 3 TAA, Six Days in Fallujah)
But there are also examples of TAA where you can adjust the level of severity of the effect and for example make it use less frames (an example of this is Turbo Overkill).
I’ve always hated the fact that all these different options are just letters with no discernible understanding the differences between them. SMAA FXAA, TAA, QASAA ULTRA MEGA… it makes zero sense.
I really wish that either the naming scheme actually made sense to people who are not programming engineers, or that every setting was given some sort of explanation and examples of it (I know some games do, but not nearly enough)
some games just have AA options: low-medium-high and you’re just supposed to guess which type of AA it is.
There are forms of AA that happen in the rendering line.
And there are post processing forms of AA that happen after the picture is rendered.
I made a link at some point to forward to the TAA on vs off comparisons on that subreddit without the URL getting censored on places like Steam Discussions:
https://url.gt500.org/TAA
Funny thing is, I think someone at Valve may have whitelisted the link, because when I post it on Steam Discussions and then click on it you don’t get redirected to the warning page that Steam Discussions shows when clicking on links.
It does seem like Valve may be opposed to TAA as well. CS2 appears to be forward rendered and has CMAA2 and MSAA as anti-aliasing options, which is a welcome sight. Granted that may be due to the performance hit from deferred rendering being considered too much for a competitive shooter like CS2, but I don’t know if Valve has ever released a deferred rendered game.
Are you 8?
Just say f*ck
what word?
I see you’re completely lacking in self-awareness while you’re self-censoring too.
People self-censor to bypass the annoying auto-moderation of DIQUS, you genius.
I’m not self censoring, Disqus does it for you so why say things like “F word”?
Makes even less sense to be careful with Disqus filter

TAA is the entire reason I only buy Nvidia atm. DLAA fixes it completely and any game with DLSS can leverage DLAA via DLSS Tweaks. Put DLSS Quality on in game, exit it, copy over the nvngx.dll file, the dlsstweaks.ini and EnableNvidiaSigOverride.reg and disable in case you ever want to remove it. Run the enable, open the dlsstweaks.ini in notepad, change ForceDLAA = false to true. I just copy the same edited dlsstweaks.ini into every game. Grats you now have the best AA in the history of PC Gaming and it’s night and day on games like Tomb Raider where SMAA is jaggies and the other options are a blur fest. Just don’t use it in multiplayer games cus anticheat. Takes 5 seconds for me to implement it in all my single player games without DLAA that have DLSS.
Hell yeah, I no longer purchase games anymore that won’t support DLSS. It’s either DLSS quality or DLAA and I don’t wanna use that disgusting TAA.
Wow there is a HUGE absolutely no difference
I cannot tell a difference in the slightest and they all still look stupid lol.
no difference. imagine fapping so hard to few pixels that changing some color tone gets you on top
im playing the game now. Can someone recommend some mods? I installed only the high poly tities and the no vignette.
Go to NexusMods and sort them by Downloads or Rating, and there you have what people have been using the most.
Rogue’s face clearly looks worse in the modded screenshot. With the rest of the differences being more subtle, except for the freckles being much sharper.
Too minor to make it worth it, body mods are better to get rid of the fugly tats and cyberware most of these characters have. Even judys awful hair and clothes, panams clothes etc make a bigger difference. Get rid of the awful veins as well, the shard insertion point by the ear I have a replacer version of etc You’re better off going with stuff you notice most in a FPP game, like ads replacers, turn off the sick ad noise, weather, car handling, LUT to get rid of the green tint, vignette, exposure mods, HUD, etc Thankfully most mods are fairly small so you’re not adding to the size by more than a few gbs.
And it’s the same game it was before, including the DLC, I think people are easily fooled and programmed by these salesman like johnnyboy here and elsewhere and their mind tricks to sell, the AI directed fake opinion sites like joogles reddit which is just as much about “buys” as anything else, AI/chatgpt guerilla marketing campaigns in comment sections and forums which companies can and do pay for to get certain impressions(those obssessed w SF on the one hand and CP77 on the other and how bad one is and “redeemed” the other is, these are either idiots or AI paid for) and just downright dumbos all over. The style is great, the graphics are amazing, the rest is just par really, it had better writing than most games but it also has huge_gaping_holes in it and cpDUR’s proved themselves a mix of idiots and malicious with contempt for gamers. The garage you watch the devs shows a bunch of tranzys and weirdos, zoo animals like this game features, infrahumans.

this is both worthless and stupid !
After two decades of modding various games, I can assure you that when you reach that level of details, you see absolutely ZERO difference in-game, unless you stay absolutely still and stare at a texture, which 99% of players never do.
Texture mods are good when it really brings a major change.
Here, it doesn’t make any sense.
