Cloud Imperium just dropped a new free update for Star Citizen today. This Update, called Alpha 3.21: Mission Ready, expands content and systems with greater risk and rewards.
In Alpha 3.21, Cloud Imperium introduces something cool called the Replication Layer Split. According to the devs, it’s the first step toward having everyone play together in one big game world. This tech runs in a special Preview Channel alongside the regular game servers. Thus, it will help players try out the new stuff and make sure it works well before it becomes a part of the main game. It’s like a big step on the way to even more exciting things in the future, like Alpha 4.0 and beyond.
Star Citizen Alpha 3.21 also brings in a new ship called the Crusader A1 Spirit. This ship is like the tip of the spear for its series, and it’s made for serious space professionals who want top-notch performance and a well-crafted ship. The A1 Spirit is designed to be a nimble bomber, and it can drop some seriously powerful payloads. What’s cool is that it’s got some heavy-duty weapons on the front, missiles, and a turret in the back. So, it can hold its own against enemy fighters without needing backup.
In Alpha 3.21, you’ll also get to try out two new missions that bring more risks and challenges. In the first mission, you are an outlaw and you’ll have to steal important evidence from the Security Post Kareah, a space station run by Crusader Industries and the UEE Advocacy. This place is up in the sky over Cellin. When you take on this mission, you’ll have to face off against security forces as you sneak into the station. But here’s the twist – other players might be after the same evidence, or they might have already swiped it and are trying to escape. So, get ready for some intense action, where you might be battling other players or a mix of PVE and PVP challenges.
The second new mission is called Retrieve Consignment in Alpha 3.21. This mission will send you to underground places to find a specific item. It might sound easy, but things can get tricky fast. Many of these underground spots have been taken over by a group called NineTails outlaws. Players will have to deal with them and search their bodies to get the item codes they need to complete the mission. So, it’s a bit more dangerous than it first seems.
Enjoy the game’s latest trailer and stay tuned for more!

I just checked their website and they have now taken in 613 million USD in revenue. They have a breakdown chart there and every hour right now another $17,600 rolls in.
It’s incredible that people are still sinking their money into this silliness. 11 years into development and still the damn game is in Alpha.
Say it with me … “The fool and their money, shall soon part”.
Indeed!
There is a whole demographic of mostly middle-class unhappily married men in the US with considerable disposable income, who spend $2,000 on ships made out of pixels.
The farthest away they can get from their wife and kids, is space.
It’s sad to see how many sink tons of money into promises and dreams. Got this as a promotion for an optane drive and the game have great potential… that said – I have serious doubts if it will reach the finish line or not. What they seem to be making most of seems to be new ships that is slightly cooler than the previous… wonder why 🙂
The year is 2098…Star Citizen just released…the Final Road Map for it’s soon to be ground breaking Star Citizen MP closed beta release…meanwhile Squadron 42 is set for alpha testing sometime in Q2 2101
One of the biggest scams of all time .

They finally give us an “Off” for the Anti-Aliasing? The last time I tried to play this game the blurring from the TAA was so heavy it looked like an oil painting.
Hey its cinematic… just like the 30fps conslow gamers said was the sweet spot for immersive gaming and the eyes can’t tell the difference anyhow LMAO
It always amazes me how someone can read that 30FPS is all that’s necessary for the human eye to perceive rapidly changing pictures as a video, and then make the jump to “the human eye can’t see more than 30FPS”…
