Assassin's Creed Mirage official screenshots-1

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Short Gameplay Clip Leaked Online

It appears that a short gameplay clip for Ubisoft’s upcoming AC game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, has been leaked online. This low-quality video lasts 3 seconds, and shows Basim running. So yeah, don’t expect much from it.

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players will experience the story of Basim, a cunning street thief seeking answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad.

Now while this is a low-res video, it does look like an Assassin’s Creed game. Basim’s running animation seems similar to Eivor’s. Furthermore, we can see some cloth physics. So yeah, this does appear to be a legit leak. I also got some Black Flag-vibes from its environments, so that’s interesting.

Sony will hold a PlayStation Showcase next week, so we might get a new gameplay trailer for this new Assassin’s Creed game during it. And, if that doesn’t happen, we can safely assume that Ubisoft will release a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest 2023 event.

Let’s not forget that it has been 8 months since the last time we heard about Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Also, and from what we know so far, Ubisoft still plans to release this AC game in 2023.

Stay tuned for more!

      1. Don’t get me wrong, I want it to be good. Truly blended in the history of Baghdad with culture, tradition, beauty and lush gardens with muddy households.
I want it to be away from the shoddy western modernity and absurd characterizations. I want it to be grounded to Arabian themes and appealing to the original audiences. They’re blending origins, unity and original AC. All are my favourites. But you know ubisoft has a history of messing up things well beyond limits.
But when they do it with force of passion, they have delivered. Let’s hope we will see our glorious Prince and Sam Fisher again

        1. “But when they do it with force of passion, they have delivered”
That was back in stone age, they haven’t done anything good in the 5 past years, just kill your hopes today you won’t be disappointed tomorrow.
“I want it to be grounded to Arabian themes and appealing to the original audiences”
The themes alone can’t make a good game, even if the nail this there’s still the shallow gameplay, the sh*t AI, the dated physics, the bugs….
That’s the thing i hate the most about AC fans, they’re too busy and blinded by the historical elements they forget it’s a game and not a fcking documentary “Ohhh look, it has pyramids, let’s forget about those microtransactions and those sh*tty stealth mechanics”

          1. You don’t need to worry about it too much. It’s their shipwreck sinking times and they’re trying to capitalize on the original fans. Nobody’s interested in their stale ips unless they innovate and bring something new and interesting.

        2. True, Unity was great because it depicted the French Revolution in a way that actually educated its peers as well as entertained them. As a Greek I didn’t feel sht with Odyssey, if anything Origins was a better depiction of the Mediterranean culture of that era.
I’ve always felt that the designers and devs really put their soul into it and are so creative (as a designer I can relate) but then the investors have their own agenda that we’ve seen over and over again.

As a big fan of Splinter Cell and MGS2,3,4 i really long for those titles. Unfortunately growing up we are attracted by news and that’s when we find out what goes on behind closed doors i.e. Hideo Kojima and konami feud. Really really sad. Hijacking one mans vision and destroying a franchise.

Franchises down wash up they get obliterated by uninspired people that are attracted solely by paper.

          1. Sometimes I think we had our time of games and now just looking for something that tickles that emotion.

          2. Pretty much, couldn’t have said it better. Zelda is somewhat still one of those games but not quite there. Seeing them using the same map, controls and training kinda makes me sad. It’s like they cba anymore.

  1. Valhalla Copy…..Paste to what ever this is…with all the gay content and mental illnesses included…cant wait to see this disaster

    1. In Mirage you’ll play as a man, but your character’s mentor is a woman! A most ridiculous, highly immersion breaking plot detail for a story set during a historical setting in an Arabic country.

      1. cant wait to see that lgbzztm+++ themed hidden dagger that and much much more illness…like i said cant wait for this pile of crap

      2. I remember reading something like there were some tribes in ancient Arabia where women do hold higher positions as leaders or saviors of the people. So if that’s the case here, it’s completely fine unless they include the pseudo-culture into it.

        1. Yes, but not in ninth-century Baghdad. By the way, if there are Persian gays or trans in the game, especially inside the ‘palace,’ it’d be historically accurate.

          1. ‘Islamic’ in name only; the caliphs of the time (not all, but the majority) had a few young Persian men (specifically bards) and trans (usually castrated men cross-dressing) for their pleasure. They drank alcohol, danced, and had s*x with men and women alike (not exactly what you would call ‘Islamic behaviour’). They also had something for little boys. It was repulsive then and even more so now.

Besides, the word ‘caliph’ is meant for someone elected by the people to lead the nation. Those guys were kings ascending to the throne through power or succession.

      3. If you want the game to be historical you would be playing as an Islamic terrorist. The Assassins were the 9th century equivalent to ISIS

          1. OK mass murderer Jewish pedophile who masturbates to 9-year-old anime children.

          2. OK Talmudic mass murderer p*dophile subhuman who masturbates to 3-year-old anime children.

          3. Wait.

Even when I say “dang”, John bans me for 10 years, and you can write that? lol

          4. That’s American Indian to you Wasichu …..

No love lost for the Christian terrorists either ….. Nearly all the Old World religions are f**ked and are all about controlling people

      1. last one i played was Black Flag and that was arguably a good one….wont be touching AC untill they get their senses together and actually make a good game…ahhh perhaps in another life

  2. it’s exactly like Origins and Odyssey and the mechanics even like Valhalla.
It is obvious that Ubisoft is not working on something new. it’s more like an expansion on the previous games.

      1. Because it uses the same game engine, all they have really changed between Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are a handful of animations

    1. Well it was originally supposed to be a DLC for Valhalla but someone decided they could sell a $20 DLC as a stand alone game for $50. It’s going to be about the same size as the Fate of Atlantis DLC for Odyssey

    2. Well it was originally supposed to be a DLC for Valhalla but someone decided they could sell a $20 DLC as a stand alone game for $50. It’s going to be about the same size as the Fate of Atlantis DLC for Odyssey.

The original plan was to have a second $40 Season Pass with this and Dawn of Ragnorok but they decide to charge $40 for DoR and make this a stand alone game for $50 more than doubling the cost to consumers ….. FFS they are even selling “Assassin Souls” NFT’s for this game.

The greedier they have gotten the less money they have made but you can’t change the minds of a bunch of old White guys that run Ubisoft

  3. Lets be honest its so blurry this could have been taken from any number of existing AC titles.

  4. We have tons of fortune tellers here who can predict future, developments, prevent disasters just by sitting behind the desk wow!

  5. whoever thinks that Ubisoft still has any competence remaining to deliver a game beyond average is delusional AF
