A brand new trailer for the Unreal Engine 5-powered Souls-like game, Lords of the Fallen, has been leaked online. This trailer packs 30 seconds of gameplay footage and reveals the game’s official release date.
According to this leaked trailer, Lords of the Fallen will release on October 13th. This falls in line with what we heard earlier this month.
After examining the trailer, we can say that this is a legit new trailer. The gameplay scenes found in this trailer are brand new, and they weren’t included in any previous trailers. This trailer gives us an extensive look at the game’s combat mechanics, so make sure to watch it.
My guess is that CI Games will officially release this trailer at the PlayStation Showcase event. That, or we can expect it to be present at the Summer Game Fest 2023 event.
Lords of the Fallen is using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature amazing graphics. The game will take advantage of Lumen, will feature really high-quality textures, and will be using UE5’s Chaos Physics for advanced simulation for clothes, chains, hair, and belts.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

The question is, WHAT HAPPENED TO GAMEPLAY? Games nowadays are months from release and no Gameplay. When you do see gameplay it’s 3 weeks from release and is a vertical slice. Why is no one talking about this? Games will hype itself up for years and no Gameplay or demo insight. Then you get an embargo, 2 days before release. These are the discussions that should be happening. Not the latest love letter to Unreal, DLSS or FSR.
It’s gotten so bad that gamers have mind FUQ’D themselves into the scam. Haven’t seen a damn of a gameplay but all they wanna know is, “does it have KOCK-Tracing, DLSS or FSR”. What in the actual Fuq is happening to y’all.
Why media outlets don’t talk about those kinds of issues?
Because they are in on it. Dependant on the publishers to provide content and also get some goodies on the side.
I learned long time ago when I worked as an editor. Left not long afterwards to the dev side.

Video will revealed today !! I have the link of the Official Youtube channel but marked as spam here… LOL
Big meh
Frame rate looks a bit rough but overall the game looks good. Combat seems faster than the first game thankfully. It’s a shame there’s so many jump cuts, kinda hard to make out what’s going, same as the first trailer. I’ll be getting it.

Its not appropriate unless there is Chinese Kangs in your game lol .
And music of this game trailer is absolute trash , the souls games themes are legendary , Radagon theme of Elden ring gives me goosebumps its so powerful .

We haven’t heard the music yet, it’s not going to be iron maiden covers in the game. They’re just doing that weird advert thing, where they put rock songs in fantasy settings even though it 100% doesn’t work.

I know but when they don’t have confidence to put in-game music makes me a bit skeptical about their music quality .
As soon as I saw 3 figures at the beginning, I knew one of them would be black, one of them would be a strong woman, and the third one would be ambiguous because he/she will be fully covered up. Practically every trailer that has multiple characters in the past few years have been like this. It’s tiresome how predictable this ESG formula has gotten.
Also, what an unfitting song choice. First the diablo 4 launch trailer, now this. What’s next, Elder Scrolls VI trailer with mumble rap?

I’m sorry. What? I get the first part of your post, sure, but Souls and Elden Ring themes are legendary? They’re trash. Elden Ring music in particular is downright awful. There was a large poll online that even tested it and asked people to vote their favorite themes followed by up another poll asking them to describe the theme and vote if they succeeded or failed. Turned out many people were misremembering, nostalgia effect, and when put on the spot to remember it concretely they completely failed due to how forgettable the themes were thus an overwhelming negative result on the poll as almost no one (over 76% at that time) could remember the themes and prompted some pretty interesting discussion if you can find it.
In fact, Ragadon’s theme is just an inferior copy-cat of other similar themes with the lyrics which were computer generated and adjusted to sound like ancient languages (aka total gibberish) its composer confirmed.
No offense, you are free to like it by all means but if you really enjoyed it I suggest checking out works from Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, Yasunori Mitsuda, Harry Gregson-Williams, Michiru Yamane to start. Note that most of them stem from JRPGs primarily which may or may not be unfortunate for you if you don’t like that genre, though some like Harry and Michiru do not.
