VALKYRIE ELYSIUM feature

Square Enix has removed Denuvo from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM

Square Enix has released a new patch that removed the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM. VALKYRIE ELYSIUM is a third-person action RPG that came out in November 2022.

In other words, it took Square Enix around four months to remove Denuvo from VALKYRIE ELYSIUM. It’s also worth noting that the game has Mixed Reviews on Steam. So, perhaps that was another reason why the publisher decided to remove the anti-tamper tech?

We should also note that Square Enix has been constantly removing Denuvo from its older games. Earlier this month, the company removed the anti-tamper tech from The Diofield Chronicle.

Square Enix isn’t the only company that has removed Denuvo from its older titles. For instance, Capcom has removed it from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Then we have Warner Bros who removed it from Mortal Kombat 11. And lastly, Bandai Namco and 2K Games have removed it from NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER and The Quarry, respectively!

  1. Just have to wait around six months and most games remove it. Or if the game is on gog, you can buy it there on day one instead of steam.

    1. “Most games” won’t remove it. Only Square Enix is doing that and Capcom (after a year). 2K sometimes too.

      1. Detected as spam, I don’t know if John is going to approve the post or not so Google “Valkyrie Elysium nude mods” and the nude mod request on LoversLab should be in the first few results. It will be on the 2nd page just a few posts down. You’ll need an account on that site.

There’s also other essential mods you can find on Steam to remove the black outlines on character models and to remove the film grain. These greatly improve the visuals. I also recommend the “Universal Unreal Engine unlocker” to hack in a command console so you can unlock the framerate if your PC is capable.

          1. It’s no Valkyrie Profile, but it’s not a terrible game. I might be a little biased because a friend gifted me the game instead of me actually spending money on it, but I’ve played much worse. It certainly didn’t deserve to be completely ignored if not for the grifters that control the gaming media who wouldn’t know a good game if they slept with the developer.

  2. The fact Steam and Japanese games are full of DRM is 100% the fault of pathetic PC gamers who were too afraid to speak out against Valve and the useless Japanese developers .

Steam is complete garbage. Full of DRM, unoptimized console ports, and cringe weeaboo junk. A platform with so many Chinese and Russian nationalists, that you might as well replace the Steam logo with a hammer and sickle . All run by fat pig Gabe Newell who hides in his New Zealand mansion each time someone coughs.

Thankfully GoG still has a spine and doesn’t allow this DRM garbage on their platform.

      1. I disagree. There are many older true classics available on GOG if eye-candy isn’t your top priority. Also it’s the only digital store that I know of that refuses to allow DRM in games that they sell and also it’s the only digital store that I know of where when you buy the game then you actually own it.

      2. A lot if you’re not looking for newer AAA games, but that’s a good thing. Newer AAA games come with DRM, monetization, and censorship anyway.

        1. Worst part about today’s AAA gaming is the mix of over monetization and political lecturing – Both are killing gaming as an entertainment form imo

      1. He was stuck there during the pandemic lockdown. For New Zealand’s hospitality, he decided to get permanent residency and stay there until 2021 when he returned to Seattle.

  3. The fact they thought this pile of garbage even required this cancer DRM to protect it, shows how disconnected SE is these days.

They think anything they crap out on to a store, needs military grade protection, because everyone must play their worthless, sjw trash, and will pirate it to no end!

Quite the contrary, as I haven’t seen an SE game that hasn’t ended up in the bargain bin inside of 4 months, in at least a decade.

SE needs to be saved, from themselves.

  5. naturally like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.
