Warner Bros has revealed the official PC system requirements for Gotham Knights. These minimum PC specs target 1080p with 60fps on the Lowest Settings. Curiously enough, the company did not reveal any recommended requirements (though it claimed that it will share them soon).
PC gamers will at least need an Intel i5-9600k or Ryzen 5 3600 with 8GB RAM and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 590.
Gotham Knights will feature an all-new original story where an expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham City. Players will take control of the Batman Family. This means that you can play as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, players will confront an array of challenges as they evolve into their own version of the Dark Knight.
Gotham Knights will support Ray Tracing Reflections & DLSS 2. The game will also support Intel’s XeSS upscaling tech. Moreover, it will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
Warner Bros will release this game on October 21st!

They’ve shown absolutely nothing that warrants those requirements. Meanwhile Arkham Knight averages 80FPS at max settings (Nvidia GameWorks enabled) with that hardware.
And it looks better
Arkham Knight averages 1440p60 maxed out with that hardware.
Arkham Knight averages 1440p60 maxed out with that hardware.
Dogshit optimization plus the Denuvo cherry on top as usual
Blame NGREEDIA !!!
Nope. this whole dev team is a blatant lie and trash. It is not Nvidia/AMD blame ground if those who at work are literally pathetic.
Ah people tend to forget….it was B:AK which has one of the disastraous launch on PC in the history…..but hey..now its 80FPS at max settings…wow…
The age of the 1060 is over, it doesn’t even meet the min. requirements anymore.
I knew this would happen the moment consoles became widely available. Consoles have the performance of an RTX 3070.
So, a *so-called* next-gen title that utilizes only one RT feature and barely any extra DX12u features (even, though DXR is apart of DX12u stack) enhancements, huh?! ?
LMFAO the game looks worse than arkham knight, these specs are BS, especially since they probably wont even bother to optimize the game anyway.
if this b***s continues ……….. i think in 2023 the minimium Specs will look like this :
Minimum Specs to Play 30 fps @ 1080p Low Settings :
– Ryzen 5800X3D or i9 13900K
– RTX 2080 Ti or RX 6800
– 32 Gb RAM (DDR4 4000 Mhz)
– SSD Required !!
I would rather play games on emulator on this requirement than play modern pc games with low settings
I’ll agree 100% with you !! Especially on PS3 there’s still perls to play like : Killzone 2&3 , Uncharted Trilogy , Ratchet & Clank series , GT5 &6 , GOW 3, Resistance Trilogy , InFamous 1&2 , GOW Remastered Collection , Tekken 6 ………. etc
I am changing my CPU just because of RPCS3. Meanwhile I am busy downloading all those precious glorious PS3 roms. cheers

I mean… seriously?! A 1060 unsupported cry? You know, a 6400/3050 goes for dirt cheap these days, right, and they also **supports** TODAY’s latest games. ?
dirt cheap? still $350, not exactly dirt cheap
….and I said, a 6400. Under $150! ?
RX 6400 is a piece of junk
it’s slower than a 1060
6500xt it is then. Under $190. And if you have an issues with that too, well, clearly, you were not going to purchase this title anyway (the base title cost a third of that GPU), so, keep going the high-seas’ route for everything else. ?
The problem is TODAY’s latest games hardly justify an upgrade.
A 1060 is such a underperformance dated card that it should never reach in today’s gaming/creative discussion.
That’s hardly the point. Xbox 360 was released in 2005 and it took more than 8 years to let it go. gtx is still younger in comparison.
What’s definitely not the point here is, having a X-Nut comparison… today! ?
It is totally the point that consoles hold graphics stale for almost a decade, but my point is that hardware have fck all to do in this process, it is the actual software that is not appealing or justify an upgrade. It does seems like they just increase requeriments for the sake of hardware manufacturing, nothing to do with increased quality.
ConSLOWS mentioned in a dedicated GPU discussion that DOES NOT even share the same GPU vendor, etc.?
Alllllllrighty, then! ?
Nope. It’s tech stagnation that i am talking about. Most people can’t afford cutting edge hardware so we end up with what is popular and affordable.
1060 will be fine for some time. Consoles don’t have the performance of a 3070. 2070/2070 super at most.
PS5 (10TF) is comparable to 6600XT 10TF (or Nv equivalent 2070 super). XSX (12TF) is a little bit faster than standard 6700 11.5TF (or 2080Super equivalent). But that’s only in raster, and with RT and DLSS even 2060S is faster than both XSX and PS5.
the ground truth!!!
Not to mention consoles have much weaker CPU compared to PC
RTX2080super at most (XSX) and only in raster (if game use RT even 2060S will be faster).
I think requirements arnt justified because current gen consoles like XSX and PS5 aim at 1440-4K resolution medium/high settings, 40-60fps, while minimum requirements on PC should be for 720p 30fps and low settings.
XSX has 12TF, but XSS is 4TF and it aims at 1080p gaming. All games on XSX also runs on XSS, so good console ports on PC should be running on 4TF RDNA2 equivalent GPUs as well.
That will be true when they actually release games that makes people interested in updating their rigs.
Hard to see a point in this game, it’s just the B/C tier DC heroes that no one gives a damn. Why not just make another game starring Batman?
GTX 1660ti is almost equal to RTX 3050 less Ray tracing and these requirements are absurd
It’s still a 30% performance gap.
