Gotham Knights, Sonic Frontiers & Valkyrie Elysium will be using Denuvo

Warner Bros, SEGA and Square Enix have updated the Steam store pages for Gotham Knights, Sonic Frontiers and Valkyrie Elysium, revealing that these three games will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Gotham Knights releases on October 21st and we still haven’t gotten its official PC system requirements. At least though we know that the game will support Ray Tracing Reflections & DLSS 2, as well as Intel’s XeSS.

Sonic Frontiers will release on November 8th. The game will be using the Hedgehog Engine 2, and you can find here its PC system requirements. And, since the previous Sonic game suffered from stuttering issues, it will be interesting to see whether this new open-world Sonic game will play smoothly on PC.

Lastly, Valkyrie Elysium is coming to PC on November 11th. For what it’s worth, Square Enix has not revealed yet the game’s PC system requirements. Interestingly enough, the remaster of Tactics Ogre, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, may not have Denuvo.

  1. Yup! Definitely another Batman: Arkham Knight strong potential fiasco.

I’ve been saying for years, RockSteady first 2 installments of the award-winning Arkham series, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, were not RS’s talent (RS was a huge nobody before Batman at that time), but it was the true talent from Edios Montreal (but WB abandoned them after the first title) then when RS had to show their true skills totally alone (Arkham City only borrowed and used the great assets that E-M dev for Asylum), Arkham Knight, what happened? The rest is history.

So, in other words, expect SUPER TERRIBLE FLAWS/ISSUES with Gotham Knights at launch and post-launch.

        1. Cope. It reused literally half of Arkham City, copy pasted the gameplay with 0 additions aside from crime reconstruction, and had the worst open world by a mile. It’s the worst in the series and it ain’t even close.

    1. Oh, poor Rocksteady with their Arkham Knight being one of the most technically proficient games ever made (accounting for consoles) and even the PC release (currently).

  2. Denuvo is almost a blessing in disguise. If games aren’t getting cracked, and they bomb (like these will), well….. the piracy boogeyman excuse, doesn’t hold any water. XD

    1. LOL and yeah one can look it at that way!
So this may be good, if those retarded POS that uses it would get that. One can only hope these morons will. But gread are making them so blind that their is no intelligence to speak of – sadly!

Annyway, lets hope these all will bomb. These POS deserves it so well for going Denuvo!

      1. It won’t bomb… The consolomites will eat it the hell up. That’s why these games keep getting made. Console doesn’t have the variety as PC gaming does do they eat up anything thrown at them. And that if what keeps these types of games coming.

        1. Yeah im sure the cosole kidz will be all over it sadly. And those live happily Dont knowing what sh*t we pc gamers must put up with!
I never bought any Denuvo games and never will. If only all pc gamers would do the same. Then atleast we dident have to put up with this trash – Denuvo would be long time gone!

  3. Pretty bold of Sega to assume anyone would want to torrent that Sonic game to begin with. Like installing an alarm system on a Lada car.
