THQ Nordic has revealed a new in-engine/gameplay trailer for its upcoming current-gen only hunting game, Way of the Hunter. In addition, the publisher has also revealed the game’s official PC system requirements.
In this new trailer, we learn all about Bear Den Ranch, and the animals that reside in the wilderness surrounding it. We also get a first look at players’ gear, learn to read animal behavior, and more.
Way of the Hunter will release on PC in a few days, on August 16th!

Actually for years I’ve heard that plants, trees, vegetables, etc. can indeed feel pain and emit screams in ultrasonic sound that the human ears cannot pick up. Could be all bs but you never know.

Or you don’t. Muslims pray for the animals they kill, not sure if other religions follow the same protocol. That’s life; we kill things in order to consume them. If you were deep in a forest a wild grizzly bear wouldn’t think twice about picking you for dinner if it gets the chance. Just because we have the brain capacity to be able to abstain from killing animals and consuming their meat doesn’t mean we should.

Have you ever been to an arabic restaurant in arab world? I have, and i wondered if going there was right considering at which rate they were killing goats
I am a Muslim myself. Albeit not a practising one. Visited a number of Islamic countries and was born in one. When you slice an animal at the throat in the correct way you’re relieving them of pain because they’re instantly dead. Any flailing you see or noises you hear from the animal as they’re bleeding out is caused by the nerve being ruptured, not because they’re dying in a slow and excruciating way. That would only be the case if some amateur performs terribly.
I’ve seen videos of people living off the grid or in farms butchering animals not that long ago and they follow the same exact method. Shooting animals on the other hand from what I’ve heard causes the meat to become tainted since not all the blood can be drained out. Perhaps the rate of those countries killing goats are high because the demand for those goats are high? The last time I checked the only people who kill animals for sport are Westerners. This game is a clear indication of that.

Saudi Arabia is a corrupt nation playing ball with an equally corrupt nation (US). It’s funny how people always use that country along with other war-torn Middle Eastern countries to prove a point about whatever, but never acknowledge the Islamic countries that aren’t suffering from the same set of predicaments.
I only heard about Salman Rushdie after the incident. As always with these types of moments I often get mixed feelings about them. All I can say is the guy would have never ended up in a situation like that if he hadn’t gone out of his way to stigmatise a religious group at the extent he was doing. This is nonsense. I was raised vegan and was healthier than anyone I knew. I started eating meat at age 14 and wish I never did. I love meat but dont fool yourself into thinking its a heathier option then being vegan or vegetarian.
Well perhaps you’re an exception to the rule. I’m sure there are many people out there who can live their entire lives eating plants and fruits without ever having to deal with health issues. And the same goes for those who are on carnivore diets.
In my personal opinion I think it’s important for people to have balance in their diets. Avoiding meat or plants altogether can potentially cut out certain key nutrients that could benefit your health in the long run.
There’s nothing wrong with hunting for food. Hunting for sport is cruel though.
