The Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall feature

You can now download for free a re-imagined version of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall

The Elder Scrolls fans, here is something for you today. The team behind Daggerfall Unity, a reimagined version of the all-time RPG classic from The Elder Scrolls series, has released a brand new GOG version of it.

This ambitious project, launched over a decade ago by Gavin “Interkarma” Clayton, is aiming to bring the unique experience of the classic open-world RPG game to a new generation of gamers. Thanks to the efforts of the GamerZakh, a gaming content creator with a love for classics, you can now enjoy a special GOG Cut of the Daggerfall Unity title.

All you have to do is download the game and simply launch it. The GOG Cut of Daggerfall Unity doesn’t require any special actions or updates on your behalf.

This isn’t the first time we report on Daggerfall Unity. Back in 2019, we shared one of its alpha versions. Since then, though, the project has received multiple improvements.

You can download the GOG version from here. Below you can also find some comparison screenshots between the original (left) and the remastered (right) versions.

Have fun!

    1. yeap, alongside that tag I was getting numerous emails about it and I was like “I know, I know, it’s out. Stop sending me emails, I took the day off” 😀

  1. >3:42-3:44

are you seeing it yet? are you getting it yet? sure 70 iq nogs can play it now but high iq youth see the nogs in the game now. its simping the youth to see and be okay with nogs now. gross. learn to play a old game and not play these mods that make it easy but they but in CURRENT YEAR GROSS stuff.

    1. lol and a china man is telling white youths this is better because its easier. sure…. he has no hidden agenda im sure.

    2. Not sure what you’re talking about…
But if you mean the npcs have been changed to reflect the current woke culture, then you’re wrong. ?
They haven’t been changed at all.

  2. Theyve done an amazong job on this. I never completed daggerfall as it would crash all the time or time would run out for the main story which was sh*t IMO. Looks liek the latter is still in this version but it might actually be doable on a more casual level without all the crashes and bugs that the original had.

  3. I have a problem with this: mods for Daggerfall constantly evolve very fast, since this Unity version started…
So, does it mean that GOG version will also be updated with the newest versions of mods?
Isn’t it better to just keep modding our own Daggerfall?
