  1. The modded HD textures change the colors too much for my liking, it alters the original aesthetic for the worse.

    1. How so? AFAIK the mod has a lot of praise for its attention to detail while keeping the original artstyle, is clearly made to use with the vanilla lighting tho, i can see why it would have issues with a lighting mod.

      1. This specific video showcased in the article doesn’t feature much alteration, but seek out on YouTube the showcase videos for Armors, Weapons, NPCs, and Clothing, and you’ll notice that his use of colors are slightly different. His reds and blues especially are not as striking as the ones in the original textures, and for that reason I never felt comfortable using the HD mod for long. I gave it a try for a while but kept feeling the game felt less colorful, and then I removed it and I was right.

        1. Interesting, i use it for so long that i honestly don’t remember those things you point out in vanilla to notice it.

  2. Wow, i gather from his videos that his work is extremely faithful to the source and high quality, so if a texture modder deserves the recognition of an official collab, it would be him.
And it would also be good for CDPR for some good will from the fans.
