Earlier this month, modder ‘Kuzja80’ released a brand new version of his AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This pack uses AI techniques in order to enhance almost all of the textures of this classic TES game.
According to the modder, this latest version brings a new quality level to the game by improving the quality details of textures. It also packs a number of optimization techniques, and removes the pixel grain effect. Additionally, it fixes the left bottom corner pixel buffer, as well as issues with “medium settings normal maps artifacts.”
As Kuzja80 noted, this pack corrects the upscaled alpha channels and upscaled normal maps (no heights issues). This is an issue that apparently affected other HD Texture Packs for Oblivion. Moreover, it features real 4X normal maps. However, this pack does not upscale the game’s small 64×64 textures.

This is why I cannot understand developers who do not release mod tools or even purposefully make their games locked and impossible to mod. The Elder Scrolls series will never die. Doom, Quake – people still remember and play them to this day because there is always going to be something interesting someone, somewhere thought of and released. Want to make games professionally and make good money? Make a mod.
Will games like Doom Eternal be remembered 20+ years from now? With no new content designed by fans, I do not think so.
Nowadays no company gives a f*k about game longevity if it is not monetized sadly.

Usually, I avoid “AI textures” like the plague, but this one seems worth it.
19 GB is insane though.
Last time I downloaded “Oblivion 2020 Retexture Project”(on nexusmods, check it out!?), even with addons, it was no more than 500 mb and looked as good as this.
