Team17 has announced that it will publish the FEAR-inspired first-person shooter, Trepang2, in 2022. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher released a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.
Trepang2 is a thrilling and graphical first-person shooter that is heavily inspired by the first FEAR game. In it, players can dodge bullets, sneak in the shadows, punch, kick and slide while unleashing their deadly gun skills on the bad guys.
Players can slow down time and dodge bullets while they perform mind-blowing & badass combat moves. Alternatively, they can use cloak to become invisible, sneak in the shadows and snap their enemies’ necks.

This games A.I comes close, at least from the demos they published.
I saw F.E.A.R. I instantly had a heart attack, then I read the rest of the title and article LOL. Then I forgot how horrible f.e.a.r 3 was.
FEAR 3 was an ok game, certainly better than 2
FEAR 3 wasn’t bad…it was extremely generic, with nothing new. So when comparing to the OG FEAR, it was bad. But by itself, it wasn’t all that bad.
FEAR is something I always have installed on my PC. I installed the AI enhanced textures, and the Sikkpin shaders with SM3.0..play it in 4K @ ~120fps…it looks AMAZING! What a game!

I forgot the demo came out back in 2019. Just tried out the demo and it’s basically an easier version of FEAR because enemies aren’t complete bullet sponges. Comparing the graphics from the demo to the trailer it really has improved. It’s more colorful and it has more variety in environments.
