Square Enix has shared the E3 2021 trailer for EIDOS Montreal’s new game, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. This game feels like Marvel’s Avengers, though it will be more story-driven. So basically, Marvel’s Avengers as a single-player game? Yeah, that seems right.
Here is the game’s description:
“Fire up Star-Lord’s jet boots for a wild ride across the cosmos in this third-person action-adventure game, a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. With the unpredictable Guardians at your side, blast your way from one explosive situation to another, with original and iconic Marvel characters caught in a struggle for the fate of the universe.”
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will release on October 26th and will be a cross-gen game. And, similarly to Marvel’s Avengers, all of the guardians look nothing like their movie counterparts.
Below you can also find a gameplay trailer. It looks better than Marvel’s Avengers, don’t get me wrong. However, and if you didn’t like what Crystal Dynamics did with that game, you won’t likely also like the direction of this one.
