First in-engine trailer for Ubisoft’s Avatar, will be using Snowdrop Engine

Ubisoft has shared the first in-engine trailer for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. This Avatar game will be using the Snowdrop Engine, will be only coming on next-gen platforms, and targets a 2022 release date.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first person, action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment. Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora aims to bring to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open world experience.

In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier. According to the team, Western Frontier is a never-before-seen part of Pandora.

Players will explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters. Additionally, they will push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.

  1. So will Assassins Creed finally move onto this Snowdrop engine ?
    the one they’ve been using is so dated

  2. Shooting a bow with an explosive arrow comes straight from one of the stupid Rambo sequels (First blood is a great movie, should’ve ended differently though).

  3. At the end of the game,the main character received special power and turn into rainbow colored Avatar and beat the final boss using rainbow sparkle magic. The games end,critic’s praised it and give 10/10 score….
