Isonzo is a new WW1 FPS game, first details and screenshots

M2H and Blackmill Games have announced a new WW1 FPS game, Isonzo. In this game, players will battle among the scenic peaks, rugged valleys and idyllic towns of northern Italy.

Here are the game’s key features:

  • Mountain warfare. Assaulting mountain fortifications, battling through ruined towns, and fording rivers are just a few of the challenges you’ll face as you fight your way through numerous enemy positions
  • Tactical multiplayer FPS. Choose your role and loadout carefully to survive this high-altitude combat. Play a sniper to pick off the enemy engineers before they can cut your wire, use rifle grenades to clear enemy machine guns, and much more
  • World War One gameplay. New historical Offensive game mode focused on the tactical challenges of Alpine warfare. This mode incluses WW1 weaponry, poisonous gas attacks, and intense artillery barrages
  • Authentic WW1 atmosphere. Accuracy in everything from maps and weaponry to music and the uniforms you choose from – fight for the Kingdom of Italy or the Austro-Hungarian Dual Monarchy

Blackmill Games aims to release the game in 2021. Below you can also find its first screenshots, as well as its reveal trailer!

  1. This gives me vibes of it being like BF1 with authentic weapons and maps pack minus the graphics and animation quality.

    1. The devs that are making this also made Verdun and Tannenberg. They’re MUCH LESS arcadey than BF1. They strive for authenticity across the board.

  2. statistically, it’s been proven that only and only people who have homosexual tendencies pay for multiplayer games.
meaning if you like to suck c*ck, go ahead and pay for games like this.

    1. Multiplayer games are pretty much the only games I do pay for (not many nowadays), unless I have a good reason to otherwise.

      1. I don’t have time to get good at these games so I’m just paying for some homeless nerd sitting in his parent’s basement killing me left and right so even if servers aren’t dead within a short period of time, I’d still feel ripped off.

      2. you really need to start looking for other options paying full price for multiplayres is kinda , sorry to say but its stupid

        1. I don’t buy many games at all and I only buy ones I know I’ll get my moneys worth out of like Escape From Tarkov. I know there are multiplayer cracks for some pirated games.

          1. You know escape from tarkov, could anyday declare bankruptcy or sudden closure and bam… Lost money, that you spent for nothing

    1. I just asked what’s wrong. Didn’t call you a hater. Thx for the info.

I used to play 1942 back in Junior High with a friend at internet caffe’s and it was the most fun I ever had. All we ever did was bomb each other’s bases with the planes. Those were the times. Gen Y will remember!

  3. thank god for this game, what i would do without it, i would have to play one of the other ww1 and ww2 games that have come out the last few years which have no signs of stop coming out.

  4. I hope this is more than just another Hell Let Loose/ Post Scriptum/ Verdun/ generic war fps where you spend most of your time running with little to no strategy or team work.

  5. you don’t have the means or IQ to produce a game with a proper narrative? No worries, just make another braindead Multiplayer converyor belt game, normies will gobble it up!
