Square Enix has revealed the official PC system requirements for the NieR Replicant remaster, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… According to the specs, the game will at least require an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or Intel Core i5-6400 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon R9 270X or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960.
Square Enix recommends using an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or Intel Core i5-6400 with 16GB of RAM. The company has also listed the AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 as the recommended GPUs.
The game will be using the DX11 API and will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. It will also require 25GB of free hard-disk space.
Lastly, the minimum requirements are for running the game at 720p with 60fps (unfortunately Square Enix did not list the suggested settings). On the other hand, the recommended specs are for running the game at 1080p with 60fps.

If there is one way to come across as intelligent, it is insulting people who like a game that you don’t. Fact is, many people did like Automata. It is the reason tis remaster is even happening.

Ratings don’t matter. Some of the highest rated games of all time I consider dogshiit and some of the worst rated games of all time are good games IMO. I had more fun with the lowest rated FPS of ALL TIME (Rogue Warrior, not saying it’s a good game, but it’s one of those “so bad it’s good” games) than that perverted h0rny dogshiit Autofarta.
Crappy port and denuvo are bumping up requirements, those are higher than from Witcher 3, Crysis 3 and more better looking games.
Let’s see if they at least improve on graphics, but it’s kind of inexcusable to not offer the vanilla graphics and system requeriments and OS as well. No excuse a windows XP can’t run these games.

Nope.
Running in Vulkan (DXVK in this case) instead of DirectX will give you the following:
1. Smoother frametimes
2. Less CPU usage
3. Less CPU bound and therefore, higher GPU usage and higher fps.
It’s mostly great on anything, sometimes it’s transformative (GTA 4 performance is finally PERFECT with it)
But no windows 7 support? Shame.

Automata wasn’t even good. It was overrated and that the only reason why this even exists.
I really liked Nier: Automata despite its many, many, many flaws, and I’m not even a weeb. It was mindless fun to put on while listening to music or a podcast.
Hopefully this remaster is fun. I’ve never played it and the reviews from 10 years ago are much less enthusiastic than NAs.
In any event, I’m absolutely sure that Kalaiden will be losing sleep in the immediate aftermath of the game’s release, creating SpecialK builds to fix all the broken rendering issues.
It was a pretty bad game if you look at it critically but it was kinda fun. My question is why listen to other music when the music is the best thing about the game, had some really great tracks.
Eh, you play a game for 80+ hours, even the best OST starts to get annoying. But I agree with you, the music was one of the best parts of the game.
