Terminator Resistance Infiltrator Mode

New free update for Terminator: Resistance allows you to become a Terminator T-800

Reef Entertainment has announced a new free update for Terminator Resistance. This free update introduces an Infiltrator Mode, in which players are able to assume the role of a Terminator T-800.

In this mode, players will utilize a wide variety of weaponry as they breach the defenses of the Resistance forces. Players will build their data banks with intel claimed from Resistance patrols and caches to discover the locations of key enemy strongholds.

Players will also root out and eliminate the tech-com field commander. However, this mode will have a Permadeath mechanic. This basically means that if you fail in your mission, you’ll have to start again from the beginning.

In order to celebrate this announcement, Reef Entertainment released the following trailer for this new mode.

Lastly, this free update is available for download right now on Steam.

Enjoy!

  1. Why do people like this lazy 1K dollar budget cash grab dog turd of a game? It’s one of the worst FPS games I’ve played in my entire life, and I’ve played more than 150 FPS games and loved almost all of them. Just look at the shiit animations that are worse than a PS1 game, the PS3 graphics, the shiit gameplay. The worst FPS games I’ve played in no specific order are:

    Killzone Shadow Fall
    BlackSite: Area 51
    ShellShock 2: Blood Trials
    Terminator: Resistance

    1. only one of those game has a good story, and its not a generic shooter but actually has stealth, upgrades, choices and sidemissions and thats terminator.

    2. i would not call this game a turd…
sure its a budget game and you can feel that when playing, but you can see the passion for the franchise when you play it.
this game is a 6-7 out of 10 in my book nothing amazing but not bad at all and if you love the terminator franchise this is (sadly) the best terminator game yet.

      1. Why “sadly” ?? It’s good to witness that some devs with no budget have passion for the franchise he’s working on and tries his best to deliver a product that fans desperately need, especially after the disaster the latest movie was.
And they kept supporting the game and allowed mods, this is just insane, yeah the franchise deserves some high profile game i get that, but when taking the whole actual situation of the Terminator franchise and gaming industry in general, this is a f*cking good thing, nothing sad about that

        1. sadly because the core gameplay and overall quality is not that good its borderline mediocre.
if it wasn’t for the terminator franchise being attached to the game it would be even less appealing.
i wish they had more budget and time.

          1. For the budget and the time they’ve got, the overall game is beyond decent and beyond what you expect for a game of this grade, the franchise being attached is not just a gimmick as they nailed the atmosphere which adds a lot to the game

    3. Killzone Shadow Fall was more disappointing than terrible imo. Just very generic.
Terminator is just a budget game with a lot of passion. Doesn’t deserve to be on any worst FPS lists.

      1. killzone shadow fall felt like it had pacing problems after the great single player campaigns in killzone 2 and 3, shadow fall tried to add many things while forgetting about being fun to play.

because in term of gameplay mechanics and visuals they are almost flawless, its just the boring and uninspired single player campaign that disappointed and ruined the game.

        1. Plus the soundtrack is decent, composer even replied to GManLives review last year to thank the audience for the kind words.

  2. biohazard is checking the comments for anyone who likes this game so he downvotes them.

thats pathetic, its not even a big release or a successful game dude.

    1. Formerly named FPS Fan if you remember him, this guy thinks he has some ancestral knowledge of shooters and goes full pathetic everytime there’s some news about this game, i bet he was sucking his thumb when i was playing Doom and Quake

    1. me too, before this they made the heavy fire games, huge improvements, imagine what they can make next time with better budget.

  3. Can’t wait to try this game mode out, I loved the game and its storyline, it’s much better than that fiasco sjw bs movie that will remain un-canon in my heart, lol.

Just gotta love & keep supporting this kind of video game studios that releases free content/updates, it just shows that this devs love their work, community and respect the franchise and know what the fans want.

      1. T3 was literally just T2
Trying extremely hard to push it’s awful comical moments as well, it has it’s good moments and some good ideas but at the end of the day it’s just T2 scene by scene.

  4. I really enjoyed this game…it was not the greatest FPS, but a solid movie-based video game. Spent many hours…totally sucked into the game world which is very faithfully created.
The atmosphere, sound, and story was engaging, and the soundtrack is AWESOME remix of the classic masterpiece Terminator theme!

    Great game overall, recommend it!
