Rocksteady is officially working on a Suicide Squad game, to be revealed on August 22nd

Rocksteady has officially announced that it’s working on a Suicide Squad game. Warner Bros will publish this Suicide Squad game, and the publisher will officially announce it on August 22nd at DC Fan Dome 2020.

This is something we predicted back in June 2020. Alongside this Suicide Squad game, Warner Bros will also reveal the new Batman game.

From what we know so far, both the new Batman and Suicide Squad game are targeting next-gen platforms.

Unfortunately, there is nothing more to share at this point.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. there were early rumors suggesting theme of this game is to kill the justice league atleast based on domans wb got initially.. it will be co op, games as a service title like avengers..

  2. Let’s see if Warner Bros secretly* farm out the PC version of that new Batman game to a cheap/small studio like they infamously did with Batman Arkham Knight with disastrous results.

Or maybe they’ll repeat Batman Arkham Origins by shamelessly posting online that they had no intention of ever fixing the game’s bugs but would nevertheless continue producing paid DLC for it.

    * listing the developer solely as Rocksteady on the Steam store page while having kept it a secret until launch day that the PC port was handled by a third-party

    1. I personally don’t care if the main studio handles the port or not, I just want a great PC port.

All Batman games (except for Asylum) had some problem or another on PC, thought after patches and drivers they’re pretty much bug free at this point.

    2. Who cares? Yeah, you needed a pretty good pc to run it at launch; Remember playing it at low settings with about 25 30 fps and still enjoyed it a lot – it’s the story, characters, excelent gameplay and control that count for me; and yeah, developer is only Rocksteady, Iron galaxy studio only ported it to pc, story, gameplay, assets, soundtrack etc weren’t made by them, they had no creative involvment in this, so technically Steam page is correct to list only Rocksteady as developer.

  3. I hope the movies had the less to none influence in their game possible…with that said…more superhero stuff? move on Rocksteady! they did a fine job with Batman games…move on!

    1. what move on? If superhero game is their greatest strength, why stop? You rarely see devs making superhero games anyway

          1. Sure..it’s a different game…it’s still in the superhero genre!
            Are you usually that slow?

  4. batman will be batman it will be hit but lets see how’s the suicide squad gameplay will be & hows the third person camera will be lets wait & see, & may be it will have coop & online versus coop multiplayer 5 vs 5
