Modus Games has announced the release of a free DLC for its critically-acclaimed platforming adventure Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. This free DLC is now available to all owners of both the standalone title and Trine: Ultimate Collection. Moreover, Toby’s Dream DLC will remain free to enjoy indefinitely.
Here is the description for this new free DLC.
“Toby the dog, as previously seen in Trine series developer Frozenbyte’s Nine Parchments, has his own adventure in Heatherwood Hall with the Three Heroes! Follow the pawsteps of Toby and help him find all the treats hidden in the castle and its gardens.”
To access Toby’s Dream, adventurers should download the DLC from the online store for your platform, then complete the Prince’s Dream level of Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and locate Toby’s Dream in the level selection map.

Nice, I have been enjoying the game a lot and totally recommend it. In case anyone was wondering this version went back to their roots and is like Trine 1 and 2.
Yeah, my girl and have been playing the entire franchise since summer. Now we are stuck on Trine 3. Trine 3 would’ve been dope if they had went full 3D instead of that weird version of 3D they did. BUt for now I’m all Trined out, we’ll probably jump over 3 to get to 4 someday. Instead we both moved onto Guns, Gore & Cannoli. That game is surprisingly very good.
GGnC2 has fantastic high quality backgrounds for a low budget title.
Very cool, it’s an awesome series to play in couch co-op and MP. Also good call to play it with your girl I bet she loves it.
Yeah 3 could of been really good they just where in that no man’s land of not full 3D or 2.5D, I agree full 3D would of been best. I hope they try full 3D one day even if I really like 1, 2 and 4’s view/style.
Nice, I just picked both of those games up at this Winter sale since I really like Metal Slug. I am glad it is good(thanks for the heads up), once I take some time off I will hit it up or most likely this weekend!
