Predator: Hunting Grounds is officially coming to the PC in April 2020

Sony Online Entertainment has officially announced that Predator: Hunting Grounds will be coming to the PC on April 24th, 2020. The game will come simultaneously on both PS4 and PC, something that will definitely please all PC Predator fans.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetric multiplayer shooter set in the Predator franchise. The game consists of a team of four players who will play elite special forces. Similarly to the first movie, their job is to wipe out bad guys and complete special missions. While this element of the game plays out, another player will take control of the Predator to try to wipe out all of the special forces team members.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is using Unreal Engine 4 and Sony has not revealed whether the game will come on Steam or not. Sony has also not revealed whether there will be cross-play support between the PC and the PS4 versions.

  1. Why did I instantly deduce that this was going to be an “asymmetric multiplayer shooter” piece of s**t, just by the title? Shocking.

  2. ” is an asymmetric multiplayer shooter”

    NOPE

    “Not actual gameplay”

    NOPE

    “Predator classes”

    NOPE

“Female predator with bra and a bow”

    NOPE

    Bye bye game.

    1. I dunno… That last one was kind of convincing, especially for DSOG. Perhaps John can locate a nude mod and breathe life into this title after all.

    2. Honestly, i like a female predator, i love their species as a whole, but i wanted a single-player game with an actual story, not another generic multiplayer game filled with microtransactions.

      1. bro they just came out with the game, give them time..you never know..they might just give you what you wanted and that’s a story-line

  3. I will definitely pre-order 10 copies of this game on epic and i will always play as a female predator to kill white guys exclusively.
inb4 durka from india gets a heart attack out of his love for the “white” race.

  4. Epic exclusive confirmed you can find it in the store already

Dead on arrival because it’s a multiplayer focused game and Epic can’t sell more than 50 copies per game

    1. I disagree that it would do that bad but I also don’t think it’s a good idea to limit the multiplayer community.

  5. This is published by SIE
It, FFVII and MBL the Show coming to non Playstaton platforms along with several teases by Sony executives makes me believe Sony is gearing up for a PC digital store competitor to Steam.

It makes too much sense, that’s where most of the market share is right now for non mobile game casual players, they’ve peaked console sales and couldn’t sell as many PS4s as the PS2 even with barely any competition by Nintendo/Microsoft.
They’re a multimedia company unlike a gaming focused one like Nintendo.

I really do think Sony will be trying their hands on the PC digital distribution market, their games are even releasing on the Epic Store so that they don’t fund Valve and they’ve seen how Microsoft has successfully brought their exclusives over with only a vocal minority whining about it.

    1. I welcome them with an open arms as long as they provide regional price and be able to import games from my ps4 digital library.
