Here are 16 minutes of gameplay footage from the PC version of Darksiders Genesis

THQ Nordic presented a new demo of Darksiders Genesis at Gamescom 2019. As such, you can find below a video showing almost 16 minutes of gameplay footage. The video features gameplay from the game’s PC version, so we strongly suggest watching it.

Darksiders Genesis marks the first, full-scale Darksiders adventure played from the top-down perspective. In this game, the fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse STRIFE is called upon to save humankind from certain destruction at the hands of Lucifer.

Darksiders Genesis promises to feature intense combat, exploration, puzzle-solving, epic boss battles and serpent holes from heaven to hell. Furthermore, the game will feature both solo and co-op modes.

There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out.

Enjoy!

    1. Maybe if you haven’t noticed every Darksiders game has been different and full with new experimental stuff.

      1. Yeah, but you forget the fact that while they tried new things, they never changed the core of the game. Being a third person hack-n-slash.

    2. WTF i thought i was in kindergarten, the franchise nearly died and it’s a f*cking miracle it’s still there and we had a 3rd Episode, devs don’t care about what you want, that’s not how things work and they have the rights to experiment new things, it’s not like we didn’t have a Witcher Card Game, in 2019 just be thankful it’s not a mobile game

      1. That doesn’t make me feel any better. I’m pretty sure the majority of Darksiders fans wouldn’t want their game to be turned into a fuccking top-down co-op game.

        1. Jesus even the main episodes are all different one from another, and do you know the franchise went to hell and back ?? And mostly do you know what spin off means ??

          1. I did not know it was a spin-off. I thought this is Darksiders 4. And yes. all the main episodes were different, but the core gameplay was still the same. A third person game.

          2. Different dev, different direction, still, it’s good for a franchise to grow and explore new lands between bigger releases (DS4 ?) that only means it has attention from both the public and the publisher, and that’s good for it future

  1. I had hopes with Darksiders 3, that the series stayed with the Hack & Slash style but they f*ked up, I WANT STRIFE
