Bandai Namco has revealed that it will present a demo for Elden Ring, for the first time ever, behind closed doors at Gamescom 2019. The game will be shown to the press, so there is a chance we might get some new screenshots from it during that event.
Since this will be a behind-closed-doors event, there will be an NDA and attendees won’t be able to record anything from this Gamescom 2019 demo. Still, there is a chance that someone may leak the gameplay footage that will be presented. After all, we’ve seen this happening in a lot of games lately. Let’s also not forget that Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games.
Elden Ring is a third-person action role-playing game with a fantasy setting. The game will also feature a new world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin.
Although there isn’t any ETA yet on when it will come out, there are rumours suggesting that this new action RPG will come out in 2020. Now obviously take this with a grain of salt as Bandai Namco has not announced anything official yet.
Elden Ring promises to go beyond simple changes to the game systems that can be found in FromSoftware’s games. For example, the game will feature an open-world environment, will allow players to ride a horse and fight enemies and while riding it. Moreover, the game’s NPC characters will be more compelling than before, and it will offer depth to exploration in a way that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice did not.
Stay tuned for more!
Thanks Igromania
UPDATE:
According to other reports, Bandai Namco will not showcase Elden Rings at Gamescom 2019

Fascinating.
he’s not a rytard, he’s a complex man just look at his avatar.
Whats with this closed door BS that I keep seeing ? how the fk should I be hyped if they don’t show anything to the public LOL
Well idk for sure but I think it’s like testing the pilot of a TV show.
Its stupid but ehh
I guess it depends on the company and why they are doing it.
Next gen I expect.
Next gen will be the same gen like the last gen LOL almost nothing changed.
Probably prioritized showcase for influencers, that’s how usually publishers play the cards nowadays.
ahhhhh its becoming a joke lol
Stupid as f@@k still
Why are all of these devs so afraid of public scrutiny. Fckn games “journalists” who can’t even play the damn things get to see it.
I’m sure someone will record it and upload on YouTube…
more pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Oh yeah daddy give us the BBC pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I’m so sick of this closed doors bullshit in an age where the internet is this popular.
It’s one thing to show it to anyone who goes at the event.
It’s another to make it press only
Feels like a desperate way to try and keep these dying platforms relevant.
because gamers are quick to judge pre-alpha gameplay.
and typically continue to fail to understand what any of that means.
Casual consolefolk maybe
Gamescom isn’t E3 though
Come-on outsource it to the company I work at so I can see how it looks. All I get to see are damn Bandai Namco games.
cmon daddy miyazaki, u shd not hide this from us!! WE knw u will blow us all away again. Who agrees with me?
