Assetto Corsa Competizione – In-game versus Reality comparison screenshots

KUNOS Simulazioni will release next week the Circuit Zolder to Assetto Corsa Competizione and in order to celebrate it, the team released some comparison screenshots between the in-game and the real track.

These screenshots showcase how close to the real thing KUNOS Simulazioni has come. Also note that these screenshots do not have the real-time ray tracing effects that the team promised to add to the game.

Assetto Corsa Competizione features official drivers, teams, and all cars & circuits with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail. Taking full advantage of Unreal Engine 4, the game promises to ensure the highest quality rendering with photorealistic weather conditions and graphics to reach a new standard in driving realism and immersion racing. Motion capture technology is also used to create the animations of mechanics and drivers in an even more realistic fashion and guarantee a high level of player engagement during races, pit stops and driver changes.

The game is currently in Early Access and there is no ETA on when the RTX effects will be implemented to it.

Enjoy!

  1. Its so strange to see a famouse videogame with an italian title for the international release. Here in italy we are use only english world for title because is “cool”.

    1. And as Americans, we think Italian is “cool”! Kinda exotic…I always wanted(still do) and Italian girlfriend and an Italian car!:D

  2. The only adjective that comes to mind is the word “impressive” when viewing these comparisons. After looking at the photos impressive was the exact word in my mind. I looked at the comments from others and couldn’t help but smile as others were thinking the exact same thing – truly impressive.
