Battlefield 5 and Fallout 76 have failed to meet franchise benchmarks according to Superdata

SuperData Arcade has shared its monthly report, stating that Battlefield V and Fallout 76 launches fail to meet franchise benchmarks. Superdata estimates that Battlefield V and Fallout 76 sold 1.9 million and 1.4 million digital units, respectively, across console and PC at launch. Both are down from Battlefield 1 and Fallout 4.

Furthermore, SuperData claims that Rainbow Six Siege shows signs of fatigue. Ubisoft’s popular FPS title has had a better-than-expected performance throughout most of 2018. However, additional content revenue declined 33% in November, the game’s biggest decline to date, and follows a decline in October as well.

SuperData also claimed that Destiny 2?s “Forsaken” boost was short lived. SuperData estimates additional content revenue for Destiny 2 dropped 63% year-over-year. Overall, engagement and monetization seem to have reverted back to the same levels last seen before the launch of the “Forsaken” DLC in September.

As always, here are the world’s most popular digital games across PC, console and mobile for August 2018.

  1. I think the problem is that these games weren’t woke enough. If they were more woke maybe they’d have done better because they’d have been on the right side of history or something. At least this is what I’m told.

  2. To quote my comment from yesterday,

    “Fallout 76 vs. Battlefield V.
The gift that keeps on giving as they duke it out to see which can fail the hardest!”

Let’s see the boneheaded Fallout 76 fanboys spit the dummy at SuperData like they did at YouTubers. As for Battlefield V then EA DICE are evidently the “uneducated” ones. ?

    1. Oh, come on now @7thGuest2.0. Don’t be such a despicable human being.

      edit:

Damn, “Metal Messiah” just deleted his seasons greetings comment as well…..hope this makes u feel happy now !

      1. Keep posting garbage/nonsense. It’s not going to do you any good though. There is limit and time to troll, have fun, or just be sarcastic.

        Not always…

        1. Oh, it was just an ‘Xmas’ and ‘Happy new Year’ WISH from his side to the entire DSOG staff and forum readers, with seasons greetings from his side.

          Nothing else.

  3. Its very sad watching single player games only have very little space (or maybe non existent?) to be listed as top 10 most popular pc games title…smh
